It didn't help that Sonic and his pals were hot on my tail, constantly trying to knock me off the platform and into oblivion. I don't know how many times I stumbled, tripped, or nearly fell off altogether. It was a miracle I made it through alive.

And that's not even mentioning the giant robot that patrols the skies of Sky Base Zone. I mean, seriously, who designed that thing? It's like they speciﬁcally designed it to make my life a living hell.

Oh, wait. I designed that thing. Hmph.

In the end, I managed to escape with my life and my dignity intact, but let me tell you, I'm not eager to return anytime soon. I'll stick to my nice, safe laboratory from now on, thank you very much.

Note to self: never underestimate the power of a high-altitude zone. And maybe invest in some better shoes for running around in the clouds.
