Okay, Skyblr, HOT TAKE What if sky kids could get sick? Yea, I know you are probably thinking: “but how can sky kids get sick, if they are beings of light?” here is where my idea that I’ve come up with instead of sleeping last night comes in. So, we all know about dark plants, right? The fellas that we all love to burn for the sweet, sweet wax? Yea, these guys. Since they are plants, they have to make seeds somehow, right? And since there aren’t any bees or butterflies (especially in wasteland) to pollinate them, they are probably spreading their pollen by the wind. Are you still listening? Good. Now, imagine: during certain seasons, for example fall, the plants will start producing pollen in big quantities, that will be spread by wind all around them. And since the pollen is usually pretty small, it would be pretty hard to notice them. Now, let’s think about this scenario: a sky kid goes down to burn a dark plant like the usual, and accidently breaths in, or, in a case that sky kids don’t breath, the pollen gets inside his body by itself by misfortunate events. Most of the pollen, after getting into the sky kid’s body will burn immediately. But a little dose of it won’t, and will be able to catch up on the inner walls of the lungs or the body, and, if the circumstances are right, the pollen will be able to grow into a small dark plant inside the child’s body. And this is how the sickness starts. No need to worry - it’s nothing deadly, it’s sort of an equivalent to a common cold, unless the sky kid mistreat themselves during sickness. Now, what are the symptoms? I know you probably didn’t ask, but I will tell you anyway! The symptoms are: - coughing (due to the dark plants in the lungs) - dizziness - slow loss of light (nothing dangerous - it happens really really slowly, plus, if the kid holds a lantern or other source of light near, they won’t loose any) - headaches and nausea (if the plant started growing inside the body) - sleepiness Okay, good, we learned what the symptoms are, but how do we treat it? Glad you (probably didn’t) ask! The main way to treat this illness is by... well, how you treat a normal cold - stay inside, rest a lot, keep yourself warm. In sky kids case, they can stay in prairie in a calm place, sleeping, while constantly hugging a lantern or a manta, in order not to loose light. And after 2-3 days, the body of the child will burn the plant, and they will go back to their normal self, healthy and full of energy, plus, now their body will be able to recognize dark plant’s pollen and burn it immediately, so the child won’t be sick again. Well, this is the end of my strange little sky concept. If you want, feel free to use it in your stories. Thanks for coming to my TED-talk)
The Archers(raNdOm Sky concept idea)
If the Children of the Light give light to the fallen children/statues, The Archers bring lost stars back home in the Sky..
cOnCepT;
I call them; "Sagittarius Archers"
°w°
Every Sunday night, where the stars shine brightest, the Spirit Mantas go up into the night sky..
All The Archers gather up to the Vault of Knowledge's summit with all the lost stars they could find, directing their bows towards the night sky, waiting for the Spirit Mantas to rise.
the Spirit Mantas rise up The Archers then fires their Stars into the sky, as the Spirit Mantas carry those lost stars back home.. ^-^
(Bad grammar sorta, but I hope you understand what I'm going for qwq)
