ode to a sparrow outside my window
time's one of those things that can't be made or bought but it can be killed or stolen or wasted so the cunning art of time theft is a life skill and guarding one's own time preserving it in practices and rituals like doing whatever the fuck we feel like and not getting permission or notifying anyone in advance
capitalism wants us to believe that our time does not belong to us and acting like it does is a wasteful sin but it strip-mines our lifetime and rewards us with pale, petty, insufficient compensation
birds would never put up with this shit hollow-boned sky dinosaurs they'd be like, "dude you be trippin'? i ain't working for you for a home i can build myself, fuck off. i'm a bird. eat my tailfeathers" and then shit on the capitalist's shiny shiny suit "hahahaa! chirp chirp motherfucker!"
