What are the gods?

The gods are powerful entities that are capable of creation and destruction. While they hold domain over their elements, they cannot destroy or create in others' (Most of them can’t. Corrupted Darkness and the Guardian of Fire are the only exceptions).

Who are the gods?

There are six known gods that rule over an aspect of creation, some more powerful than others.

The Megabird (god and mother of all light): Also called the Ancient Light, the Megabird is the creator of all light creatures and the source of all natural light in the world. She is also the one who gave prophecies to the ancestors. For the most part, the Megabird is an observer of the world, trying to find a way to get rid of Corruption.

The Abyss (god and father of all shadows): Also called the Ancient Darkness, the Abyss has been around for an unknown amount of time. He is currently suffering from Corruption, slowly losing his mind. The Abyss is the creator of Darkstone and all dark creatures, but not much else is known about him.

The Guardian of Water: god of the waters of the world. Their sacred animal is a sea turtle. They are suffering from pollution in their oceans and rivers.

The Guardian of Earth: god of the underground and nature. Their sacred animal is a tarantula. They are suffering from poisonous chemicals that have been soaked into the ground, preventing plants from growing in certain areas.

The Guardian of Air: god of the winds and storms. Their sacred animal is a sonar bat. They are suffering from smog and toxic fumes that were left behind.

The Guardian of Fire: god of the flames. Their sacred animal is an ancient lion. Unlike the others, they aren't suffering from any sort of sickness. However, they are one of the only ones that can potentially heal the sick gods. Of course, they are limited in their presence.
