2 - Sky Sounds [ ♫ ]
My Roman Empire is sky trumpets / sky sounds / those creepy unexplained sounds that people heard all over the world and different times and we all just??? moved on??? Like we didn't hear the sky itself creaking and wailing with no explanation all over the world????
Even if it's just echoes acting strangely with the geography, that's really cool and should be researched more.
At approximately 4:50 am, I began hearing what I thought at first was the rumbling of a jet flying overhead. The weird thing is that this sound didn't get any louder or quieter as jets/planes usually do when they pass over your house. This noise stayed constant. After about a half an hour, I got curious. I got up and turned off the heater, thinking that I was just overreacting to the sounds of our house. The sound was still going. I walked out on to our porch only to discover that the noise was much louder outside. When I opened the screen door and stepped out into our driveway, I could hear the sound coming clearly from the sky. It was coming from everywhere. I was a little freaked out so I rushed inside to wake up my husband. I dragged him outside so that someone else could hear it and to reassure myself that I wasn't going crazy. He was a little freaked out and we listened for a while. Finally, with the noise still rumbling, we went inside. (My cat, Akasha, was also interested. She was looking out the window and staring at the sky the whole time with her ears forward and intensely listening.) We were discussing what could be causing it when all of sudden it just stopped. Dead silence. It didn't fade out or anything. I'm little creeped out. I live in SD and I'm curious if anyone else heard this strange phenomenon....any science people wanna help me pull a Dana Scully and try to find the logical answer to this strange event?

A kaleidoscope of sound from Minneapolis band Magic Castles. "Sky Sounds" is a dreamy psych pop song that somebody like Anton Newcombe would be proud of. He better be because Magic Castles have been under the direction of the Brian Jonestown Massacre singer for the last couple of years and they are signed to his A Records label.
