(i haven't looked too much into the fr lore either dw, haha;;) o: who are they “Five Gates of Redemption”? (i can't access fr rn so i don't know if you've written something in your dragons' bios ><;) why do they exist?
Honestly it was kind of a spurr of the moment thing, so it's probably kind of lame-- But the "Five Gates of Redemption" exist for those who, well, seek "redemption". So in order to even possibly atone for whatever crime or other wrong doing they've committed ( or even just turn over a new leaf in general ) they have to go through five battles for each gate.
So in order here's how the gates go;
First Gate tests your mind/intelligence in battle.
Second Gate tests your senses in a battle.
Third Gate tests your speed in battle.
Fourth Gate tests your strength in battle.
Fifth Gate isn't really a battle level but rather a series of tests.
I have dragons for the Fourth & Fifth Gate but not for the rest, I'm still searching.
And the "Fifth Gates of Redemption" really isn't called that but that's what it essentially is. The five are actually called "Protectors of Genesis"-- Which the Fifth Gate is actually Genesis. And Genesis' has a little more info on his post, so you can read it here if you want.
ooo! is it alright to ask about the groups/sub-groups that are in your clan/lair? like, why /are/ there sub-groups in the clan? different views? canon-fr lore reasons?
It definitely is alright! I love talking about my dragons.
But there are sub-groups mostly because I didn’t realize your whole clan was counted as a whole, so I started little bios of my dragons as separate things from the whole clan. ( I’m still new to a lot of this tbqh )
Like the “Five Gates of Redemption” is one of the subgroups that I created without realizing the whole clan thing.
So yeah, there are going to be sub-groups because of differentiating views for right now— Especially since I haven’t actually looked into the canon FR lore. ;;;
