i’m not ignoring what scott was talking about on stream but, i will admit, i was very focused on his lil rat!scott plushie behind him

did someone give this to him at twitchcon? i don’t think i’ve ever seen it before :o (unless it’s been there the whole time and i just haven’t noticed until now haha-) i love it, i love it, i love it 💙

i've been playing 'tidy up the arcane library' on steam and imagining the Bannerfall mages cleaning it up....

there's a whole section on necromancy, and i was like, omg bf!sausage would love these. am disappointed there's no gardening magic books. there is stealth and illusion magic though-!

i wish there was an option to read them lol. but, that'd probably make the game go on for ages x'D (like it doesn't already aha). i'm already distracted enough by some of the titles-

there are also destruction magic books on the elements, and that got me thinking about the Flight,,,

i just wish there was a way to make it easier to move around the library >w<

anyways, good little game imo !

a friend who’s been reading my vampires drafts asked me something yesterday, and i felt like i should bring it up here.

Avid has been written out of my Vamps AU fic, and I’ve replaced his character in my Bannerfall/Vampires fic.

i am absolutely infuriated by who he, and Marm, have revealed themselves to be, and i no longer support or want to mention either of them. i wish that any victims who were manipulated by them are taking care of themselves <3

gonna put more details under cut but, just wanted to get that out of the way.

i don’t want to go into detail about it, but i can direct you to @/starry-blooms as they have screenshots of the affected victims’ statements, and other info.

i personally had sort of suspected something was up between creators after (and even during) Bannerfall.

i had also read something that was something along the lines of ‘don’t stop supporting such-and-such smp’. i won’t. i will keep supporting, and watching, and writing for Vampires. for Bannerfall. for the Flight. there are other creators in those series i adore. and one (or two) problematic people aren’t going to stop me from loving those series.

i’ll be honest, i don’t have much to say about Marm, cause i never really engaged with her content. at this point, i don’t wish to either.

now i need to get something off my chest regarding Vampires, and it might be a little bit random for the topic of this, rant but… i absolutely despised AviScott. it just felt weird to me. i saw v!Scott as someone who had tried love in his life, and hated it so much, or had been hurt time and time again, he never tried loving anyone since. v!Avid ultimately ruined that arc for him by kissing him at the beacon… this is just my thoughts. Vsmp was improv, things happened on the spot and sometimes creators just had to run with it. that might not have been the case here but, it almost felt to me, original endgame plans had to be changed because of that one scene.

now it’s not to say i hated v!Avid. in his case, i want to be like some people and seperate the character from the creator, and turn him into my own OC. i’ve seen suggested new names for him, and i love that.

as i said above, i’ve replaced his character in my Bannerfall/Vampires fic, and that character’s name is Alaric, a monster ‘hunter’ who believes in the supernatural and mythical beings, and wants to understand them; to find out if they actually are real, and what their motives are in the world. Alaric is besties with Shelby, though they do still hang out with Drift a lot.

i don’t want to spoil too much about my Vamps AU fic, but basically, i’ve kept in a part that v!Avid plays a role in, cause it’s, pretty significant to the story. i have planned a way to write him out of it now too.

yes i will keep writing those fics. they’re Scott-centric, Avid wasn’t even a main character anyway. but it was relevant to say something since he does come up in the stories.

this was a longer ramble than i intended, but i hope i made some sense. i didn’t want to say anything, since i haven’t actually planned on posting my fics to the public (maybe i might further down the line) but, my friend suggested it if i keep talking about those fics here.

tldr; i do not support Avid or Marm, and give my love to anyone victimised by them. Avid’s character has been written out and replaced in my fics.

so i’m writing my bannerfall/vampires fic, and am happy with what i’ve written but,,,,

i realise, i have more from springwell’s pov than from goldsmith’s and, i don’t know what to do >w<

i get it that usually in multiple pov stories, you switch the pov every chapter and such but… yeah i feel like, i don’t really have enough from goldsmith, to make it a switching pov story anymore ;w;….. i have so much from springwell though - he’s having the best time in oakhurst! :D (he’s really not, pls save him)

… maybe i just need to watch the bannerfall streams again lol. i’m not really a good combat writer, so i fear about writing a dungeon run, and them fighting the creaking king. i could write a bit about someone from Blue teaching goldsmith farkle? lol. or him sneaking into Red for something?

i dunno. this is what i meant by his story being all over the place x’D
