Sky, when you use language like "there was an anon here complaining" it makes it seem like you have a problem with anons sending in complaints -- which seems to be the purpose of this blog. I know you can have a tendency to be reactive, and it's at the point where sending in any sort of feedback feels likely to irk you and get an aggressive response, but saying nothing helps nothing. Please consider that if you dislike anon complaints, COAR is not for you.
I don’t have a problem with anons sending in complaints? I honestly have no idea how you took what I said and got that out of it. I literally just stated the facts: there was an anon that complained about the Google doc thing, and it wasn’t true, and they tried to argue otherwise. I wasn’t even involved in the conversation, I just saw it in passing.
“I know you–” Maybe just stop there? Because you don’t know me? I know you’re going to try to use this as “see, look, I was right, you ARE reactive” but no. I’m just here stating facts. You don’t know me. Please don’t pretend that you do.
I’m not irked, and I would very much appreciate it if you didn’t assume that I was, or try to ‘read into’ my text. Feedback itself doesn’t irk me, but this kind of ‘feedback’ where anons think they know me better than I know me – especially in repeated instances – do grate on the nerves after a while. Please consider that if you don’t like what I have to say, or you don’t approve of me as a mod, then I’m not for you.
Hell, feel free to request that I don’t answer a specific ask or question if you feel that strongly about it. You do you, and I’ll do me, and we’ll both be happy.
here’s some further proof of the anon who started the whole thing about googledocs and just one of the many complaints we seem to get regarding dash - only blogs and googledocs.
now, i would really like it if people would stop attacking the mods that i selected to help me run this blog because of a few instances where they haven’t exactly agreed with the tone they are perceiving.
it’s tiresome and if there truly was an issue with a mod, then i would take care of it as owner of the blog.
