This was supposed to be his belated birthday gift. I definitely went overboard on this. Ended up sketching like four different things for him and this was the one I wanted to line and color. I could have just went with flats and call it a day but I thought "Hey I'll just do quick shading!" I don't know if I'm going to do gifts of this quality again so this is also my thank-you gift for my commission from him.
@skygracer I was not exactly happy with the sketches I wanted to give him for his belated birthday but this one I have lots of confidence. I like the stoic look I gave him. The clothing complements the cold surroundings I had in mind.

I was working on a silly thing for Skygracer for his belated birthday gift and then he actually makes a solid reference of his character and I told myself that would be a lot better to draw than whatever silliness I have. If only you poor fools could see the reference on his Patreon - I had an “Oh no he’s hot” moment.
