What do you do if a Wyvern is about to go on a rampage?

“Well, if the wyvern was about to fly off on a rampage, certain measures can be employed to prevent a disaster. A tough leg of mutton can be dispensed to distract the beast enough for someone to get a harness around its snout and legs. If food is not enough of a motivator, then fear may just well be. Cherche or Gerome are also the go-to people in such situations, as Minerva has established herself as the alpha amongst the camp’s wvyerns.

However, were a wyvern were to go absolutely berserk, it may be necessary to put it down. Their scaly hides are thicker than most mail, but they’ve a soft spot where the base of their wings meets their bodies. A well-placed spear would be able to pierce the heart and bring the beast down. While full armour seems the logical attire for facing down one of these creatures, the dragonfire of an adult wyvern can melt through steel in a matter of seconds. Medium to light mail or a padded gambeson should be protection enough, while a dense heater shield and a sturdy lance are one’s weapons of choice. With luck, I would come away from such an encounter with minor injuries and a burn here or there… without it, I fear Lord Chrom may need to find a new lieutenant.”
