Spyro, Elf & Eruptor - around 15 - 18, however they all come from species with slow aging, so they're teenagers for a looooooong time, so they act far more immature than they should for "their age"

Jet - Vac - Between 45 - 50 years old, Old Old man, and he's already very accepting of it

PopFizz - Not far behind, 40 - 45 !

Eon - Dead to me but at least Thousands of years old, he's a Wizard he should age like one

Kaossandra - Same as Eon, and she served while doing so

Hugo - just a little guy... 36. A nice, Green number.

Kaos - I have ABSOLUTELY no clue and it drives me insane

Glumshanks - 37 - 42 at least

Is Dark Spyro going to have a redemption arc?

Was going to answer this earlier but I was still tired haha!

but, YES !! I want him to be redeemed and not DIE as soon as he's interesting. But its' a slow redemption, its' about Spyro recognising his fears, angers and anxieties- because that's the only way to accept Dark Spyro as part of him.

They wouldn't get along all too well, but it becomes more like a sibling thing- Dark Spyro just becomes a very, very useless Skylander (He's lazy and stubborn and gives JV a run for his money)

Is Spyro's bio mom going to make an appearance in your au, or is she only going to be mentioned or does he just not have a mom? (Honestly I just HC that if he did have a mom she'd basically be della duck)

I'm answering so many of these late cause I got caught up with work and now I have free time- plus I'm ill rn so-

There's no Mother figure for Spyro, for the dragons, it's basically the logic of A. Giant Lizards and B. Magic!

Spyros homes in Reignited is exclusively Male dragons, and while I include Cynder and Ember, I'd rather not jump around the subject with things like "Secret women dragon in secret women dragon world" or some of the other 'bizarre' ways ive seen people work around it.

Spyro has two Dads! In every case, adoptive and biological- considering the large male population, I'd like to just embrace the essentially canonically queer existence of Spyros realm- Yes, there are Female dragons! But it's more the idea they choose to present as Female, much like the Males chose to present as such rather than 'biologically Female/Male'.

I like the overall Queer reality of Reignited, and I think its important to include or discuss in Kids media or media in general :3

You could say however, Spyros second Father falls into the 'Della Duck' type, however he would remain unimportant, as Malefor is my main focus!

So, when Spyro and Malefor first meet each other and what was there relationship like afterwards?

This is one I've yet to think about, I think when Spyro learns about it, he's devastated, his afraid of Malefor but deepdown he feels for him- he understands the pressure and expectations and camt help bit resonate, but could never see him as a parental figure.

This is one however I'm 100% going to explore more !

and yeah i can definitely see flashwing and spyro getting along after breaking the self centered-ness. my au is very off the top of the head rambles rn, i like the idea of them being closer+closer in age but for my au they probably didn’t meet until way later to fuel spyros like absolute lack of knowledge about dragon stuff despite being a dragon. idk, i’ll probably refine it more after i finish my rewatch

I have sketches and plans- so many plans- Its so refined I want to pitch it someday !!

Also absolutely rewatch !!! For how terrible it is, it's charming, and I have such a personal connection and comfort in it. Spyro has become my way of voicing my feelings, but its so nostalgic as well ! When I watch Skylanders, I think of 2 things.

1. Being 12 years old, sat on the couch watching what I perceived as "Mind numbing garbage", holding my cousins guinea pigs at my Aunties house with my little cousins.

2. Being 17 years old, watching it again properly, drinking Monster (when I shouldn't have been ahaha) and texting someone I don't talk to anymore.

Its so special to me for how stupid it is, I can still feel the warm February sun and the feel the awful pressure of having to pick up my laptop and listen to online classes lol (Covid days.. argh!!), I can even SMELL my favourite flavour of Monster, my favourite song is Saccharine and despite being indoors, my hairs in pigtails and im wearing an entire tube of mascara-

Its the small things that make something so stupid so special, and I think thats beautiful :3

Its moments I cant recreate anymore (My bedroom has since been sacrificed to my youngest brother.. rip my cool wallpaper lol), but theyre still so clear to me- and over the years, I've definitely created new memories watching it !!

Its nice to see my stupid ramblings have woken parts of a niche fandom, and hopefully it keeps everyone here !! I want this fandom THRIVING !!

oooo i freaking love your au!! i think mine comes from the fact that Eon just straight up never tells spyro about his kind, and the way he reacts when he first meets cynder in the show is like “omg other dragons EXIST??” (although im just remembering flashwing was in the first episode so maybe not exactly like that but still)

i feel like because of that he never really had anyone to help him with dragon stuff like molts or flying or teach him dragon culture. there’s flashwing but they practically never interact and idk i feel like she’s a lot younger than him, so he probably feels super isolated.

then iirc (rewatching the show for the first time in a while but i am on ep one) when he finds out what happened to his species of dragon, he goes to Maelfor. So in my au when he meets Cynder, he’s less pushy about her becoming a skylander when he meets/finds out about Maelfor, and ends up going with them to learn more about dragon culture and whatnot, leading to him finding out about his species through Maelfor resulting in him resenting Eon for never telling him

Awe I love this!!! In my AU, Cynder is a MagicCrafter who - someday would like to be a Skylander like Spyro, and would enroll the semester after his (failed) Graduation.

I think Flashwings closer to his age, but shes' so self absorbed (much like himself) he struggled to connect with her. Altough, given the chance, I think he would 100% get along with her (High tier gossipers imo)
