Blastermind headcanons because I have brainrot for this little fucker-

•He can feel other people’s emotions, so being around people with strong emotions can hurt him.

•Has crystals growing out of his brain. These heighten his senses a lot, and also make him much more sensitive to things.

•Tiny baby man. (4’0)

•Blastermind is very sensitive to physical stimuli, and greatly dislikes being touched without consent.

•He’s actually just very sensitive to stimuli in general.

•When he was down in the cavern, the psionic crystals not only gave him his powers, but they also grew crystals out of his skull. (It was quite painful.)

•The crystals... kind of control him. They can regulate his emotions so much he’s almost emotionless, and they occasionally control his body movements as well.

•The crystals change color slightly depending on Blastermind’s emotions. (A more reddish-purple for anger, dark purple for fear, etc. The more the color shifts, the more intense the emotion.)

•He gets headaches often, and takes a lot of pain meds because of it.

•When he gets migraines, they’re bad. Really bad. He usually has to take the day off, and be far, far away from anyone else. (The emotions of other creatures can worsen them.)

•The migraines are usually because the crystals are growing.

•He sometimes stims by rubbing the inner part of his cape’s collar. (It helps him calm down.)

•He actually died from the fall into the cavern, but the crystals revived him before his soul left his body. (He cracked his skull open.)

•When he’s in a life or death situation, the crystals will glow yellow and completely take him over. (Temporarily.)

•The crystals on his helmet are traptanium, while the ones growing out of his brain are the psionic power crystals.

•The only thing the traptanium crystals do is amplify his powers. He gets all his power from the psionic crystals.

•He gets along really well with Ka-Boom.

•His species is kinda like a cat mixed with a lizard mixed with a human.

•Eventually, the crystals will overgrow. They will then have to be removed before they completely take over Blastermind.

•While his helmet does serve a purpose, (slighting enhancing his powers/giving him better control over them) it’s mostly just for his own comfort. It keeps the psionic crystals from being touched and/or disturbed.

•He really likes being cuddled/wrapped up in a bunch of blankets. (Especially if Ka-Boom is the one cuddling him.)

•His species can purr, and Ka-Boom thinks it’s adorable when he does. (Ka-Boom was super confused the first time he did it though. He thought Blaster was growling at him.)
