The soft whispers of the wind gave the Stormwind docks a chilling aura about it. The shadows gave several crooks and alleys several hiding places for a possible ambush or even a an assassination attempt. But the real danger was right before the common eyes of the dock workers. One such wore a big hat that covered his gray eyes and most of his beard. Those Grey orbs moved to and fro as if looking for something or someone specific. Unknown to the grunts or the oblivious dock hands, the man was named Skylar Pratt, also known as Raven...and he was looking for his lost toy...His lost commander...his lost queen. There was a silent fury about the man, one in which cold unforgiving eyes would promise pain amongst pain for such insolence. A tip had been place and his pet crow was in the sky's, the latter being the only evidence to the man's presence. It was clear that he wanted her to know that she was being watched by him.
That sensation swarmed over her, eyelids slowly resting shut as she crossed her legs, feet dangling off the table she sat atop. “I was wondering how long it'd take you.”
Raven narrowed his eyes "Disappearing without a trace...without informing your king is not wise. In fact, it's suicidal." His soft footsteps padded the cobblestone street until he was face to face with her. "So maybe there is a reason why you placed my operation in peril. But whatever the reason is, you better start talking...now."
She didn't seem frightened, almost like she'd expected this. She had. A push from the table allowed the pretty little gem to land on her feet. "I got into some trouble with my past. But don't you worry, I've been using it - or should I say, him, to our advantage." Caterina hummed, her eyes flicking against Skylar's pretty, but entirely aggressive orbs. "A man named Voss, whom I had past encounters with years ago spotted me recently. I was able to persuade him to protect me should these old demons re-appear and interfere with our plans. I also spoke of you." She paced slowly, heels clicking all the while. "Made him think he's in charge. A massive ego, but a very powerful man. He's got a lot of influence and I am particularly valuable to him due to my knowledge of the city. He's got a ship, a crew, and a relentless drive. He's power hungry, my sweet. And he wants to meet you. I told him about your intelligence, your wickedness. He was impressed with you. My advice, is to make him think he's in charge. Gain his trust...And when the time comes. Take everything you want. When he is most vulnerable."
Heated orbs flicked between Caterina and the blade that was concealed in his coat. He wanted her to know that it was there...that he controlled her fate at this precise moment. What made it clearer were the ten men working on the cargo, some were his own men and some were bought off. If she wanted to live, then she would have to sate his ire and distrust. "And you still couldn't have sent a letter informing me of this change of plan?"
Blond brows shifted to a slight frown, "What? Of course I couldn't."
His hand shot upwards, grasping at her neck, hard enough to hurt but not hard enough to choke her. "I expected you to handle a new shipment...a shipment now lost. Tell me Kitty...tell me my 'Queen' why I shouldn't punish you? Why I should even let you live?" Cat felt one of his fingernails plunging into her neck. "What would you give me in return for such a disruption?"
She hitched a breath, shifting uncomfortably as her body adjusted to the pain, but not daring to break eye contact with him. "He would not let me out of his sight, he wanted to protect me. You had to find me, sweet King." Her right hand extended, slowly, searching for his cheek. "I've done this for you. Help him build his empire...And we will have everything we could ever want." Her eyes searched his own, "When I was being taken from you, I turned the situation around and thought, truly, of you." Her voice rasped against his hold, taking pauses to inhale sharp breaths. "I've made him trust me so that I can please you by giving you the foundations of an empire."
Skylar roughly pushed her on top of the table before climbing on top of her in order to pin her. "Or you could be working with him in order to bring me down. You are going to betray one of us...or maybe the both of us. Words are sweet...but filled with lies. Show me...why should I trust you again my Queen. Or better yet, why should I believe that you are under my thumb and not under his?"
Caterina blinked once, her form not struggling against him. She exhaled through parted lips, fingers wrapping around his wrist and doing nothing more but just holding it. "Because I was yours first. I've always been yours. It’s always been you. What could he give me that you haven't already? There is security with you. You want to punish me?" She frowned, "Fine. I can take it. But what is a King who has no faith in his Queen?"
"A living king. Especially since he has spent some time with you...enough to make me doubt your true intentions." his eyes narrowed before aggressively pressing his lips against hers, where she felt the sharp pain of her bottom lip bleeding from his bite. "Now...you WILL tell me everything about this man and what exactly happened. If you want your king to trust you...then the Queen must earn it by sating his doubts." Skylar wanted her to feel helpless, to feel just how upset the man was with her at the moment. He soon allowed her to breathe again but not before biting her neck, forcing her to release a quick cry. "This is not a safe place to talk. We will go back to your estate that I gave you." He took her arm as he gave one of the mages a signal.
Her form loosened a little bit as he released her throat. Slowly inhaling, the rose stared at him with those loving, almost sad eyes. "Okay. We'll go." She said easily, reassuringly.
