could I have some prompts for idw fort max/idw jetfire? thank you!! ^_^
Skyfire teaches Fort Max a dead language, mostly because neither of them have anything else to do for quite some time.
“Nothing will go wrong,” Skyfire had said while dragging Fortress Maximus off to some random planet because something on it could potentially result in a scientific breakthrough.

“Guys, I did it!“
The skymaxes just came up in my head this afternoon, and then I went on to think about this: do they have a pronoun to describe them, or would they
Hiro used the pronouns he/him when referring to the Skymax prototype. But since then, six skymaxes were built, and we don't see the gang referring to an individual skymax robot with any pronouns at all.
Maybe they would use the pronoun it. But I don't really like referring to anyone with that word, so I'm gonna go with they/them.
And hence the birth of this enby Skymax sketch. I still don't know why I drew this, maybe just for fun. (also please excuse my horrible attempt at colouring the nonbinary flag with only a limited number of coloured ball point pens.)
Kentucky Kaiju REVIEW
I'M SCARED. That's all I can say for my opening sentence here.
The episode begins with the nerd gang waiting outside the movie theater to see Kentucky Kaiju! Gogo asks what the movie is about and Baymax looks up the plot summary for it, but Fred tells him not to spoil it...even though Fred has seen it six times. Someone else in line shares that it'll be his eighth time seeing it, which Wasabi finds odd. Fred tells the fellow movie-goer not to listen to him because he hasn't loved anything this much. Of course, that's not true; Wasabi loves corduroy! Gogo gets an alert on her phone that there's a bank robbery going on and Globby is behind it. This disappoints Fred since the theaters opened the door.
The team flies over to the bank and fly inside the gigantic hole in the ceiling that Globby caused. Fred wants the battle to be quick so he can get back to the movies, but he's not in the vault. Globby is stretched out right in front of them. Hiro tells him he can't just break into a bank, but he did and he immediately attacks Baymax, getting his glob-body all over him. Gogo catches Hiro after Globby throws Hiro off Baymax's back to see how he does without him. Globby throws Baymax inside the vault with Fred and closes it up. Gogo throws a disk at him, but he jumps right at her (well actually he passes her by separating himself a bit, but you get it) and attacks her from behind! He goes over to attack Hiro, but Honey Lemon throws a chem-ball at him. Unfortunately, because he's made of that chemical, he turns it into a pointy stick and launches it right at Hiro. Luckily for him, Honey throws a chem-ball at him that protects him (even though the pointy stick ended up cracking through his helmet.
Baymax breaks through the vault and flies over to catch him, but Globby stretches up and exits from the hole he created to enter inside. Globby leaves, saying that it's a good thing Hiro has friends with fire power because he's useless without them. Hiro glares at him, breaks off the pointy chemical stick and starts rolling away with Baymax rushing after him.
We cut to Obake's lab where Globby shows up and reports that he did what he was asked to do, but doesn't get why he did it. Obake tells him that he planted doubt in Hiro and is curious of what he'll do with that doubt.
In his garage, Hiro takes off his suit and Baymax turns his hands into cold compresses for his injured shoulder. Hiro complains that all he's been getting is help and that he doesn't want it anymore. Baymax asks if he should deactivate and Hiro apologizes. He explains that he doesn't like feeling weak and useless all the time. Baymax tells him his strength is average for someone his age, but as a superhero, he doesn't want to be average. He feels that he needs his super power and decides on super strength. Baymax suggests a healthy diet and exercise, but Hiro has other plans. We get a quick montage of Hiro designing himself an upgraded version to his suit.
Meanwhile, Fred and Heathcliff are at the ship docks at the Fredrickson ship. Fred is impatiently awaiting for the "most awesome thing in the history of awesome things". Heathcliff asks if it's a snow cone machine, but it's not (despite that being a great guess). Fred purchased the actual animatronic Kentucky Kaiju from the movie. The crane places it on the docks and Fred eagerly opens up the crate...only to be attacks by about a million packing peanuts. He digs around the huge crate and finds the kaiju, but it's far from being the size he hoped it would be. He thought it'd be the size of the crane. After looking at the kaiju and the crane, he confirms with Healthcliff that he technically owns everything on the docks. Fred...I don't like where this plan is going.
Back in Hiro's garage, he's testing out his super strength; he can punch through concrete! He's excited to show his friends his new power, but Baymax doesn't understand why "punching concrete" would make him a better hero. Gogo contacts Hiro and tells him Noodle Burger Boy is back and sends him the location. Hiro tells Baymax they'll meet them there and they do a fist bump. But because of his strength abilities, he ends up punching Baymax into something offscreen. He still says ba-la-la-la though.
Hiro and Baymax fly through the city and meet up with the others who are fighting Noodle Burger Boy on the streets. He's got a new upgrade and he's throwing cars with it. Wasabi wonders if it's just him who thinks the villains have been getting stronger lately. Baymax lands and Hiro jumps off and gets into action, commenting it may not be just the villains getting stronger. Honey worries about him going alone and Baymax explains that he's been instructed to let Hiro "do his thing". Hiro dodges some laser attacks and is able to keep a car from hitting him which surprises Wasabi. He throws the car back at Noodle Burger Boy who questions how he did that. Hiro throws a sewer lid, which breaks a part of Noodle Burger Boy's upgraded system. He punches another part and breaks the other two together in satisfaction considering Noodle Burger Boy couldn't predict that. Noodle Burger Boy flees the scene and the other's show their support of Hiro's new abilities.
In the garage, Hiro shows off the suit, explaining that it's a smart fabric that contracts to enhance natural muscle movement. All his friends show more support and Fred tells him it reminds him the Human Fist (apparently a normal hand by day, but the glove comes on by night). Hiro is happy that he'll have his own back in battle now and Baymax learns that that's a metaphor.
The next day, Aunt Cass is struggling to open a pickle jar and she's impressed when Hiro is able to open it without any problems. On his way to school, he helps some people get a piano into a home with the touch of his finger. He then rushes to his class and when he opens the door, the entire door comes off. Professor Granville is not amused and Hiro accidentally throws the door on Fred off-screen. Hiro awkwardly tries to sit down, but he accidentally launches his stool at Karmi, who dodges it. She asks what his problem is and he says it slipped, but she and everyone else believes it was a throw. Granville asks if she's okay (which she is) and then asks Hiro if he's done destroying school property which he hopes he is.
Later on at lunch, Hiro safely gets his food to the table, but when he uses ketchup, the entire bottle breaks...and most of it gets on Karmi. Even though he explains it was an accident, she (and another student) believes it was on purpose. He reaches over to get her a napkin, but then the entire table breaks. She asks what's going on with him, but he insists the table had to have been cracked because that's the only logically reason why it would have. She tells him that he's cracked and walks away. The cute floor cleaning bots try to help clean up the mess.
In the nerd lab, Hiro is desperately trying to get his new suit off his body, but it won't. Wasabi offers to try, but despite his attempts, it's stuck to his body. Fred comes over to tell them about the door that hit him earlier in the day, but Wasabi accidentally knocks Hiro into Fred, and he knocks into something else off-screen. It's really not his day. Wasabi is beginning to realize that Hiro being stuck with his suit on will be a problem.
Obake is in his lab watching over footage from yesterday's battle with Noodle Burger Boy. He's disappointed to see that Hiro chose super strength as his new ability. Globby comments that he would have gone with laser eyes, to which Noodle Burger Boy shoots his laser eyes at Globby. Globby calls him a show-off and Noodle Burger Boy offers him a sticker. Obake tells them to stop talking and zooms in on Hiro's new suit. He's impressed by the nano-compression circuitry, but finds it to be a pity that he rushed it.
In Hiro's room, Baymax states that his suit his malfunctioning. Hiro obviously knows this and every time he tries to take it off, it gets tighter. He suggests for Baymax to short out to circuitry with his defibrillators. This concerns Baymax, but Hiro insists he'll be fine since he's insulated. Yeah no, it was a horrible idea.
Hiro is trying to recover from being shocked in the cafe and is starting to regret his new super power since he can't get rid of it. Baymax doesn't know how to help since this isn't part of his care-giving matrix. Hiro tries to concentrate and take it slow to control it, but he ends up breaking a mug, startling Mochi. Apparently, Aunt Cass gives Mochi regular coffee. Hiro and Baymax head off to Fred's house to see if there's a comic book way out of this, but Baymax thinks it'll be unlikely. As they exit the cafe, one of the customers inside is Obake who is obviously spying on him. Nice to see him in broad daylight! Aunt Cass offers him more coffee and asks how he's enjoying his blueberry scone. It's "delightfully fruitful" and also says the word "yummy" which I never thought I'd ever hear him say, but I love that we did.
At Fred's mansion, Fred doesn't have a comic book answer for Hiro (as Baymax predicted). Fred gets a call from Heathcliff and he immediately asks if something is ready. What he's excited about is ready and he excuses himself, but Hiro is welcome to stay as long as he wants to. After he leaves, an incoming call comes from Fred's dad (who is currently fighting mummies). He's surprised to see that Hiro instead of Fred or his wife. Hiro excuses himself, but Fred's dad is interested in Hiro's suit. He thinks the idea is genius, but Hiro explains that he can't get it off. Fred's dad tells him that he also tried to give himself super strength when he was a rookie, but then he realized he didn't have to be strong. "You just have to find your true strength." His true strength was his can-do attitude (and being rich doesn't hurt). Hiro's unsure of what his true strength is, but Fred's dad is sure he'll figure it out. He also suggests for him to leave the mansion because he didn't recognize Hiro at first and he alerted security.
Later that night, everyone is at the docks waiting for Fred. The wonder where he is an a gigantic sized Kentucky Kaiju emerges from the water! Wasabi is relieved he's not the only one seeing it. Fred paid to have a Kentucky Kaiju made out of a giant crane and it looks amazing! Fred is very satisfied with it. Gogo asks what he plans to do with it and he hasn't thought of one yet. As he talks, lasers shoot at him and Noodle Burger Boy shows up to knock Fred out of the huge animatronic kaiju and take it over himself! He controls it to walk on the docks and towards the city. Hiro attempts to call Skymax, but his finger goes right through his phone, so Gogo calls for them. I love that each of them have their own personal Skymax now! Hiro needs help getting dressed.
Citizens of San Fransokyo are running away and leaving their cars behind as Kentucky Kaiju stomps through. Noodle Burger Boy sings his theme song as he installs a piece of tech with Obake's logo on it. As the monster starts to breath fire, Big Hero 6 swoops in and flies around him. Fred just had to go for accuracy, which he regrets now. Fred falls on a car, where he decides it would be best for him to lay for awhile.
Gogo throws her disks at the kaiju, but he eats them. Honey tries to stop the monster from hitting Gogo with its tail, but that fails, both of them get hit by it and Wasabi accidentally breaks Honey's chem-purse.
Baymax and Hiro fly in and Baymax launches his rocket fist a couple times, only for that to get eaten too. They get taken down by the tail and Baymax takes too much damage; his systems aren't responding and he can't move. He tells Baymax to wait there and Baymax is concerned since he can't have his back. Hiro assures it'll be fine since he has super strength.
As Kentucky Kaiju continues to stomp on the street and breathe fire, Hiro makes it to the top of a building and jumps, landing on its tail. He starts climbing further up, but Noodle Burger Boy gets an alert that someone is on the tail and tries to swing him off. Between his magnetic gloves and super strength, he's able to keep himself on and slides himself all the way to the scales on its back. The monster attempts to grab him, but doesn't succeed. Hiro jumps to one of its three eyes and opens it up. Unfortunately, Noodle Burger Boy exited the giant robot lizard and flees the scene. Because no one is controlling it, all the idea open up and Hiro ends up falling out. The monster is about to step on him, but Hiro uses his super strength to save himself. He's able to push the monster backwards a little bit...and then the suit malfunctions which means it's able to come off now. Perfect timing.
The monster crouches down and roars in Hiro's face. When Hiro looks back up, he looks over at a billboard with Fred's dad on it. He remembers the advice he gave him earlier about finding his true strength. Hiro then looks inside the mouth of the kaiju and sees Baymax's rocket fist. The monster crouches down again and Hiro allows himself to be "eaten". This worries his friends, but as the monster walks away, Hiro blasts through its teeth wiith the rocket fist. He flies until the fist hits the side of Mr. Fredrickson's billboard and Hiro is hanging there, waiting for the kaiju to come and get him. The monster falls for the trap and gets electrocuted by the the tower cables which causes it to be destroyed. As the monster continues to take damage (Obake's piece of tech landing near Baymax), Hiro uses his super strength suit as a parachute and he lands on the ground safely.
Hiro and Wasabi help Baymax sit up. His friends tell Hiro how amazing he was taking down the kaiju and Gogo tells him that being a boy genius is definitely his thing. Fred thinks everything that happened was just a dream, but it was very much so real. He apologizes for creating a monster that almost destroyed the city.
Hiro walks over and picked up the piece of tech with Obake's logo on it. He realizes that it's an incredibly advanced CPU. He knows it had to have been what switched the monster into battle mode. He knows Noodle Burger Boy installed it, but doubts he could have made it. Hiro also tells the gang that something else has been bothering him too. He recalls how earlier in the episode, Globby didn't actually steal anything at the bank. He wasn't trying to get into the vault, but trying to get into Hiro's head. He remembers Globby stating how Hiro would do without Baymax and that he should be lucky to have friends with fire power since he's useless without them. He now realizes that someone else was behind all this, but none of them know who...yet.
Obake watches that whole scene from his lab and seems pleased with this outcome. He wanted to know how smart Hiro was. Globby asks him how smart and Obake laughs and smiles a menacing grin as he says "Very".
WOW. I LOVED THIS EPISODE.
First off, HIRO WAS INCREDIBLE THIS EPISODE! I felt that it was very real of him to feel useless since he doesn't have abilities like everyone else on the team does. Even though Obake wasn't impressed with him picked super strength, it was really cool to see him with that ability. Of course, his true strength his his genius brain. He did absolutely amazing in the battle against the kaiju, especially when he didn't need physical strength to beat him. I'm so proud of my child.
I really liked Mr. Fredrickson's advice to Hiro too. It was obviously something he needed to hear in this episode and he eventually figured out his true strength. I also love that he was fighting mummies with ease. Nice touch!
One of the smaller details I really appreciated was just seeing how protective the gang is of Hiro. They made sure he was safe when going against Globby and didn't want him to be alone going against Noodle Burger Boy. It's so sweet!
I about lost it at the part where Hiro told Baymax to zap him with his defibrulators. HIRO WHY WOULD YOU SUGGEST THAT?!
Also, Fred...why? I love you and the Kentucky Kaiju robot was amazing, but of course it was capable of causing destruction. At least he realizes that now. I really enjoyed seeing the interactions between Globby and Noodle Burger Boy. They have a very interesting dynamic and I hope we'll be seeing them interact more in future episodes.
Obake. Oooo boy, Obake! He just gets better and better which each episode he appears in. He spent this entire episode not only spying on the team (mainly Hiro), but manipulating Hiro from the shadows and it was so well thought out. Each scene he was in had me at the edge of my seat and my heart was racing he's just that good at what he does. He clearly has something huge in mind for Hiro. Even though Hiro is starting to realize that someone else is out there and he needs to find out who it is, Obake is very impressed with his intelligence and I'M SCARED FOR WHAT HE WANTS TO DO. If he's trying to get Hiro on his side or to make him build something...whatever the case, I'm incredibly nervous!
You know an episode is really good when you spend a good half hour after it with your heart still racing and you're constantly muttering "Oh my God" under your breath. At least that's how my Saturday morning went after seeing it. I think it's safe to say that for the time being, this is my favorite episode now.
On a scale of one to ten...I'd rate Kentucky Kaiju a 9.3!
