“That’s a deadly dagger that lass has a got,” you notes, glaze flickering to the little girl seated on chair close to Count Velianel’s seat, which he had abandoned in favor of conversation across the ballroom. “Is that even allowed in here?” “Well,” your companion says, “that’s the little Countess, isn’t it? If anyone’s allowed, it’s her.” Thought she’s more than several paces away and your conversation is hardly more than a quiet murmur, the little Countess’ head turns in your direction, summer blue eyes piercing in their intensity. She tilts her head, as though asking a question, cut-edge conjured dagger glinting in her hand. (Interestingly enough, you’ve never seen one of that color before. Hers is vibrant—different.)
“Do you think she can hear us?”
Before you can respond, the girl lifts her brows as though saying obviously.
“Looks like it,” you say, suddenly uncomfortable at being caught staring, and you turn away.

Now that I've had a few days to process Skyrim's dark brotherhood questline, can we all take a moment to talk about how uh. incredibly gruesome the ending is? Because I knew it would be bad, but not that bad holy shit.
Also I'm lowkey kind of sad that arnbjorn and veezara don't make it, but I realize that veezara doesn't exactly do much and that arnbjorn Would Not have taken the ending well.
