A fallen angel, who had lost her wings,  devoted her body to a defiled vow.  Although she used to be in love with someone,  with her own hands, she completely erased her past.

Without a determined destination, Lucy walked downstairs of a public park. Her gaze reached all directions, puzzled by the absence of people.

This place is normally populated. What could keep the humans busy?

To be honest, it was better for her. She went on, and stopped when she heard a bark. She instantly ran towards a dog, which was the source of the sound. The dog looked at her, turned and ran towards the park's fountain. Puzzled, Lucy followed. The dog led her to an unconcious girl, who was lying next to the fountain. Was the dog asking her to help her?

Descending Angel

With a frown, Gumi examined the golden feather that lay in her hand, peering at it as though staring longer would reveal more of its secrets. No such luck, though; there was so little written here that it might as well have been etched on the feather's surface, rather than in the thread woven through it.

Ω―"Yoruyonaka Hotaru," she said as quietly as she could muster; the echoes formed by her Voice of office tended to reverberate, such that even a whisper carried across a room. Ω―"Born when rescued from a great fall. ... and that's it. Cripes. Never thought I'd say this, but those bloody angels could stand to add a little more paperwork to their operation."

There was no help for it, though. Her orders were to track down and speak with this new angel, who had been created by the Heavenly Host for some unknown reason, and then simply... left here on Earth. It wasn't exactly unprecedented, but Earthly angels usually had a purpose in their creation. If there was a purpose here, no one saw fit to inform the Celestial Bureaucracy about it.

Ω―"And she could be just about anywhere in Tokyo. ... some days I hate this job."

She put the feather away and stood up, standing on the railing at the edge of the roof of the building she'd been sitting on. She stepped off onto solid air, and blinked out of sight, beginning her search.
