Appearance headcanons
Ven and Van are aged up, so now they like 28.
Their appearances gradually started changing after KH3
Sora, Roxas, and Xion now have the same skin tone, light tan. They also have the same eye color, dark blue.
Roxas’ hair is more like dark dirty blonde now.
Ven kept his regular skin tone, but his hair is lighter blonde and his eyes are light blue
Vanitas is the darkest skin tone out of all of them, a bronze color, and his eyes are green now. Originally, they weren’t, they were still yellow. Then he got blue color contracts, so people would stop being afraid of him (and to look like his sibs), but they ended looking green instead of blue. At first, he was pissed off about this, but then he grew to like it because Sora’s mom has green eyes. Then one day, when he took of his contracts, he noticed that his eyes had actually turned green. He blames it on heart magic and he actually pretty happy with it.
Sora’s Mom Headcanons (God this poor woman, I gave her a horrible life TT.TT)
Name is Skye
Orphaned as a baby and was never adopted. So, she has no other family than them.
Lived on the streets for a couple of years when she got too old for the orphanage.
Was a petty criminal for a couple of years she was on the street.
Sora’s dad was the first person to look past her tough persona and see the good in her
Sora’s dad helped turned her life around and made her into a better person
Sora’s birth was the happiest day of her life because she finally got a family of her own
Sora’s dad died when he was 10, everybody thought that that would break her but instead, it drove her to stay strong for Sora.
What really almost drove her over the edge was Sora’s year-long sleep. Because during that time, she knew that she had a son, (She still had all his baby photos, his room, birth certificate and such) but she could remember anything about him. And nobody could help her confirm that he was real.
Was put into a mental hospital for a couple of days, only for Sora to wake up a week later and everyone apologize for not believing her
Been very protective over Sora and later the other four ever since
Vanitas reminds her of her younger self and that’s one of the driving forces to them becoming close
Siblings dynamic
Sora, Roxas, and Xion are a triple threat of thrill seekers. Any reckless or possibly dangerous thing Sora suggests, Roxas and Xion approve. (“Hey! Want to have a flowmotion diving contest off the clocktower?” “HELL YEAH!”)
Ven is the responsible one of the group (“No, do not do that.”) and Van is the one egging them on the annoy Ven. (“Do it”)
But Vanitas is protective over them too, in his own way. (In this example, if one of them get too close to the ground for his liking he summons a dark corridor for them to fall through then reappear right next to him)
Sibs in Disney Worlds
Shortly after, they became an official family. Sora took them around the worlds showing his sibs to everybody he knows.
Ven learned how to do the transforming/world order magic and also learned how to change their clothes to adapt to the weather. (Take notes, Donald)
Wherever they go, Vanitas always end up looking like the goth kid of the family.
World-specific headcanons
In Monstopolis, they all look like Sora’s monster form but with slight variations. Like, different color fur, stripes, tails, and horns on some.
Mike and Sulley don’t recognize Vanitas cause he not wearing the mask, but Van is a bit wary of them.
In the Caribbean, Jack calls the other four by nicknames based on their comparisons to Sora. Roxas-> Blonde Sora, Xion-> girl Sora, Ven-> Big Blonde Sora, and Van-> Big Sora.
He eventually does call them by their names, expect for Vanitas. He still calls him big Sora cause, according to him, his name too long, in reality, he just do it to mess with him
I can see Jack looking like a proud dad when he sees Sora showing the others the ropes of pirating.
On the way to port, Jack takes Xion aside, warns her about the possibility of meeting some “unsavory characters”, gives her a pocket knife and show her how to stab someone with it.
In Arendelle, Ven gave them weather clothes because Sora told him about his last visit and how he was freezing. (Donald!) Only for it to be summer. Luckily, Elsa transforms their clothing for them, now they have traditional Arendelle clothes as souvenirs.
In Pridelands, they got in contact with a researcher’s spy camera. Cause one of my headcanon is even though we don’t see humans in pridelands they still there, but they kept their distance.
Sora, Roxas, and Xion found one of those robot control hidden camera while chilling by a tree. Their lion side got the better of them and when it started moving they chased after and mess with it like real lions.
Meanwhile, Vanitas catch some drones flying by and decided to mess with them. So, some poor researchers had to deal with consist almost heart attacks cause this jerk of a lion is trying to swipe their drone out of the air.
All the while, Ven is just taking a nap.
Now on the human side of that world, there a trending YouTube video about five funny looking lions. And people in the comment section are making jokes about how it looks like they’re all wearing wigs.
