Thinking about how if Ventus didn't kill Strelitzia he would have either died in the keyblade war or went on to become a dream eater like the rest of the dandelions
Thinking about how if Strelitzia lived Vens life would have met a tragic early end
Just like hers did
Thinking about how one of them has to die for the other to live
Thinking about how it's either Ven or Strelitzia because you cant have both
Been messing around with Pinterest collages

Ventus took a deep breath, slowly taking in the dry breeze that swept across the endless sands of the Keyblade Graveyard. Dangling his legs from the cliff, he took a good look at the sea of broken Keyblades planted across the wasteland like forgotten gravestones. Countless rusted hilts and chipped blades stretched all the way to the horizon. He should despise being here. Yet, in some twisted way, this place brought him a strange sense of comfort.
Or...
The war is finally over, and the Guardians of Light slowly begin rebuilding their lives. Life in the Land of Departure settles into something resembling peace. Aqua starts healing from the scars left by years of isolation, Kairi trains relentlessly to become strong enough to protect the people she loves, Terra smiles more often, slowly learning to forgive himself for the things his body did under Xehanort's control, and Ventus tells everyone he's doing fine. He isn't. His magic is growing increasingly unstable, mysterious voices are haunting him in reality, and every night he finds himself drawn back to the Keyblade Graveyard. There, an encounter with a Heartless begins to awaken somethnig that maybe was never meant to be awaken.
this is still the best character assessment of Ventus in like. All of the games to me.
Ventus is seen as weak because physically he is quite delicate. He's referred to as notably frail and petite by Xehanort and others and as "spineless" by Brain, and Eraqus, Terra, and Aqua portray him as childish to each other when speaking about him.
However, Ventus is not any of these things and proves himself undeserving of such derogatory labels, because fundamentally those Ven is perceived by do not value what his true strength is, and are always, always met with their doom because of it. Ventus is determined, rational, kind, empathetic, and *confident*. He enjoys being alive and he has no problem with being genuine about what he does and doesn't like. He's confident and gets upset when he's mistreated and fights back on it, and he thinks critically about those who tell him things and what they might want from him.
Ventus is not weak for opening his arms to others and trying to understand them, and he's not childish or bratty for getting upset when he's mistreated or infantilized by people who are barely older than him. Lauriam understood immediately, though. Which is why Ventus's strength causing him billions of years of guilt hurts so much.
If you think about it, this is basically vanven
wanted to make and post this drawing 2 weeks ago but well... university caught me, really needed to draw them again ;◡;
Coniunctio
Something I like to do every now and then is to look at the rooms of Sora, Roxas, and Ventus. Despite not really seeing them that much, it’s cool to see the ways they’re decorated. Something I love about specifically Ventus’ room is the fact that a combination of the alchemy signs for Mars and Ventus are scattered throughout the room.
For reference:
A combination of them in alchemy is called the “Sacred Marriage”, or Coniunctio in Latin, which is the union of opposites. Coniunctio is an internal process of self-knowledge, so by bringing together parts of the self that were previously in conflict, a person achieves a higher state of consciousness, balance, and wholeness.
But wait…doesn’t that sound familiar?
Furthermore, this can also apply to Ventus taking in the ancient darkness inside of his heart to give it a new form.
It also further connects Ventus to the χ-blade because both are made whole when undergoing Coniunctio.
