Marichat/Adrienette are same as canon

ChatGold for Marigold x Chat Noir and Goldrien for Marigold x Adrien.

Adrien acknowledges that Kagami is very pretty but is too head over heels for Marinette to do much with that information, especially since his love life isn't as hopeless as it was in canon when Kagami was introduced. It's the same for Marinette and Luka where she acknowledges that he's very cool and cute but her love life isn't hopeless enough for her to seriously consider trying to move on from Chat Noir.

Marinette's in a larger struggle than Adrien though because Luka does flirt at her in his own way, where as Kagami is focused on building a strong friendship.

Curious, will Chloe try to get Luka's attention too and be dense by thinking that he 'likes' her like she does with Adrien or it's just a passing flame?

As Luka shows up more (and he will, same as Kagami), Chloe will have additional attempts to get his attention, though she’s in the same mind as with Adrien in that she has already convinced herself that he has a thing for her based on absolutely zero evidence.

However, rather than her actually “liking” Luka, it’s more that she has a shallow appreciation of him (ie thinks he’s cute) and wants his attention same as she wants everyone’s attention. After all, it’s an ego boost when a “cute” guy is into you.

Despite Chloe’s “love” for Adrien, she’s proven since Season 1 that she’s not against shopping around (ex: Her trying to get Prince Ali to be into her). She comes across as the kind of person who just wants to be pursued and she definitely wants Luka to pursue her even though she ultimately wants Adrien.

Luka seems to react more strongly and anxiously in this version compared to his cooler canon self. Is this a real thing or does it just seem that way because of anime conventions?

It’s a limitation of the media, tbh, if the panel was bigger I would’ve drawn two Luka’s: outer and inner Luka. Outer Luka would be calm (canon) Luka while inner Luka is the one freaking out. Think Sakura from Naruto.
