daisuke makes anya smile, in spite of the odds being so against her throughout this trip. there are things she cannot say, cannot tell another soul for fear of losing her job (or worse repercussions) but, by god, daisuke's vibrant energy is a near-universal constant in cheering anya up. it's one of those things that just makes her smile, to hear his little ideas and humorous hijinks.
