hi , counselors ! welcome to your summer of wonder ( we mean , horror ) at camp silver lake . the admins are finishing everything up on the main , throughout the discord , and anywhere else you might see us during the weekend . but to keep everyone entertained and to keep your creativity flowing , we’ve come up with a few camp activities to get you started . check out the below for your first camp silver lake task and a timeline of events !
OOC TIMELINE + UPDATES
the admins have started sending out discord links so keep an eye out on your character blogs for those .
throughout the weekend ( july 29th through july 31st ) , feel free to post your intros and musings . maybe even do some headcanons . whatever floats y’all’s boats ( or insert similar regional slang here ) . we will also probably be reblogging some character development ask memes that members can answer at their leisure !
the first task is due by august 3rd , which is when we should be starting our very first week of camp silver lake . ( hint : the counselors will be arriving and maybe ... perhaps ... a bonfire ? )
we will be holding our second acceptances either on monday morning or monday evening and will be starting interactions based on that - either august 1st or august 2nd .
OOC GUESSING GAME
for a fun little activity , the admin team has come up with a game . can you guess who wrote your acceptance note ? ( this is not mandatory but optional ) you can pick between admins paige , amanda , adri , and dani . if you get it right , you’ll get our eternal love and affection ( and also perhaps , an event of your choosing in an upcoming plot drop . )
put your guess in the #guessing-game channel on the discord , and we will tabulate the results and let you know who got it right !
TASK 001
our first task is pretty simple ! all we’re asking you to do is create a playlist for your character : one that you think they’d be listening to during the summer - from their arrival at camp silver lake until they drive out of the ( pearly white , hehe , kidding ) gates . tag your playlist with slashertask and slashertask1 so that we can see them and reblog them here for everyone to enjoy !
