WHAT WAS YOUR: 

Last Beverage: Either coke or soju. Not exactly sure the order that I drank them. 
Last phone call: Hmm, can't remember. I don't usually phone people too often. Had a lot of Skype calls yesterday though. 
Last text: From my bank company saying it bought something. People don't text in Korea, so the only texts I get are from my bank telling me when I use my bank card. 
Last song you listened to: Jolin Tsai's We're All the Same But Different. I've been in love with Chinese pop for the last month. 
Last time you cried: I don't really cry. Last time was probably thinking of my grandpa.

HAVE YOU EVER: 

Dated someone twice: LOL I haven't dated enough people for this to happen Been cheated on: Not to my knowledge. 
Kissed someone and regretted it: Sorta. Kinda depends on where you count the kisses as ending.

How many people on your FB friends list do you know in real life?: Almost every one. If not every one. Think I've accidentally added a couple people though.

First surgery: I don't think cytoscopies count, but that was worse 
First piercing: Nope. I'm getting a nose ring next week though. First best friend: Don't remember. Probably my twin though. First sport you joined: Also don't remember. Unless ballet counts. 
First vacation: Seeing as I just left North America, it was probably to my grandparent's house

RIGHT NOW: 

Eating: RAMEN Drinking: Nothing. There's a soju bottle next to me though. I’m about to: Study Korean/Chinese or practice my violin. 
Waiting for: A couple Christmas presents. The love of life. Meeting K-pop stars. Lots of stuff.

Want kids: For sure. The seed is strong. Get married: When I'm like 40. Or once I've finished exploring. Career: I’m a teacher.

Lips or eyes: Eyes. God I love eyes. Hugs or Kisses: No idea. They're about equal. Hugs are just much more multipurpose. It's kinda weird to start kissing your grandparents. 
Shorter or Taller: Shorter. Older or younger: Younger. 
Romantic or Spontaneous: Spontaneous. I'm not sure I handle romantic shenanigans that well. Nice stomach or nice arms: WTF. I didn't even know this was a thing. Sensitive or Loud: Quieter than me. LOLOLOL Hook-up or relationship: I prefer a relationship. But I'm learning new things all the time. 
Trouble maker or hesitant: Not really opposites to be honest. I want someone who wants to do stuff and doesn't make me decide. Cause I'm bad at that.

Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings? This is a tough question. I used to spend my summers (before I was a university student) re-reading both series. I think, ultimately, I have to go with Harry Potter, though. I love the Lord of the Rings, but Harry Potter is more important to me. Maybe because it was being made while I was growing up, so I had the experience of anxiously awaiting the next book and growing up with Harry and the Hogwarts kids? I don't know, but Harry Potter wins.

Which movie have you seen the most times and why? Inception without a doubt. I can (and have done) watch it back to back to back all day, just absorbing the nuances of the acting and set design and everything. It's by far my favourite movie.

Your favourite class in high school? I took a couple of classes that were taught by my swim coach, Aquatic Science, and Geology, Meterology, and Oceanography (or GMO). They were by far my favourite classes. We set up giant aquariums in the lab (we could choose salt or freshwater - I always picked salt water) and then we went to the beach and bayous and lakes around the area to collect organisms for our tank. I had crabs (stone crabs and blue crabs) and several different types of fish in my tank, and my favourite part of the day was going to class early to feed my critters and look after them.  I volunteered at the Sea Center in High School, too, which meant that when the year was up and we had to empty our tanks, I took the critters to the Sea Center. The fish couldn't be released into the wild right away, so they went to live in the giant tanks of the Sea Center's Aquarium. The crabs went into the touch tank, or the aquariums, depending on how big they were.  By far the best experience of high school. 

Most embarrassing situation you’ve ever been in? At the moment, all I'm coming up with is a family dinner I had to attend at my grandparent's fiftieth anniversary celebration. I love my family, we're a big bunch of goobers. But on this night, my parents were teasing me about a crush I had on a guy in my class (I was probably about 10 or 11 at the time), and my entire extended family was listening. I was mortified. So I was standing behind my mom's chair, and I ducked down to avoid their gazes...and my hair (which my cousin had done up for me earlier) got stuck in the zipper of my mom's purse, which was hanging on the back of her chair. So now I was stuck. My cousin who had done my hair had to help me get unstuck, and she was laughing so hard she could barely focus.  Pretty embarrassing.

Do you have a pet? What kind? At the moment, I don't. I used to have a hedgie, but he died :(

What would you see in the Mirror of Erised? This is such a big question, holy cow. I guess I don't know what I'd see, and isn't that kind of the point? That our biggest desires are hidden from us? But anyways. I'd probably see something like me being happy with my life - working a job I enjoyed, coming home to someone who loved me, being genuinely happy.

Your biggest ship? Arthur/Eames, from Inception, or Drarry, from HP. Arthur/Eames is my love, but Drarry was my first love, and nothing will replace that. 

Describe your favorite ever fanfiction? So I read this drarry fic once upon a time that I absolutely loved. I can't remember the name of it now, or who it was by (any help would be appreciated!) but it basically it was a war!fic, and Harry was living in Grimmauld Place with Ron & Hermione the summer before their seventh year. Draco Malfoy comes to live there as  well, b/c he left the DEs. They start falling for each other, but that isn't the main plot - the plot is the war. Krum is involved, as well as other Bulgarians that Harry makes friends with. Hermione, Ron & Draco go back to Hogwarts for their seventh year, and Draco gets resorted into Gryffindor. Harry visits them there, and helps protect the school from an attack, with the help of the Bulgarians. Then later he faces Voldemort in an attack in Bulgaria, too...It's really, really well written and I WISH I COULD FIND IT AGAIN.

Favourite TV show? I like so many...I'm currently rewatching Criminal Minds (b/c YES), and Supernatural as well...I've been watching Teen Wolf (guilty pleasure...). I loved Firefly and Fringe (both over now, cries). 

Favourite Disney/animated movie? Toy Story, without a doubt. I'm a bit obsessed...

If you could wake up tomorrow in any time period and spend the whole day there, when would it be? This is such a tough question, too. And my answer is going to sound incredibly dark. But I'd really like to go to sometime between 1914 and 1918. I'm so intrigued by the Great War, and know in my head and heart that it was *horrible*, but I have always wanted to experience the trenches, to know without a doubt the horrors they went through, the smell, the feel, the sounds. Dark, right?

So after 5 years, this is my last year of university. (If I don't jinx it, way to go Cat.) (*knocks on wood*)

In my first year, one of my new friends (Liz) invited me and our other friend (Rachel) back to her place for Thanksgiving, since we were so far from home. (We go to school in Vancouver, and my family lives in Texas. Rachel's lives in California.)

We haven't been back to Liz's place since, but in about half an hour, I'm leaving to go spend Thanksgiving with Liz's family and Rachel again. 

It has a sort of symmetry to it that I really like. And makes me really happy that I've been friends with these wonderful ladies for five years already <3

ELEVEN QUESTIONS

The Miss diceandpokerchips has tagged me in the ELEVEN QUESTIONS + another 11 QUESTIONS MEME. I'm probably not going to tag anyone else, but I'm always down to fill these out! (And I love reading them...)

I was asked: 1. Your top three fandoms?

I hate this question, haha, MUST I LIMIT MY LOVE? Inception, for sure. after that is probably...Avengers (616 and MCU both), then...probably...a three-way tie between Harry Potter, Hawaii Five-0, and The Dark Knight Rises (I'm very new to this fandom, but LOVE IT.)

2. How did you discover fanfiction?

I actually didn't discover the world of fanfiction until about 4 years ago - my first year of uni!! My lovely friend Rachel (slashnote) got me started reading HP fic...and I was hooked!

3. If you were stranded on a desert island, which THREE items would you take with you?

ah, this is so tough. cause my mind keeps telling me "oooh, bring this!" but then I'm like, "yeah, but after a day in the sun it would be dead!" So...I guess I'd probably bring...flares, aaaand sunscreen, aaaand a REALLY long book to read!

4. If you could have any animal in the world as a pet, what would it be?

I'd probably get another hedgie. I used to have a hedgehog, but they're a bit dumb when it comes to survival mechanisms. Hedgies can't survive hibernation (their metabolism slows down too much!) but it's an instinct for them to enter hibernation when it gets too cold! Knuckles did this to me :( My landlady at the time helped me try to warm him up, with warm towels and body heat, and if he had made it through the night we were taking him into the vet in the morning, but he didn't make it. He had already been too far into hibernation :(

5. If your life was a TV show, which song would you want as the theme tune?

time to open up the iTunes, methinks...hmmmm, maybe On Top of the World, by Imagine Dragons?? It's fairly upbeat and cheerful...and is one of my top played songs, so let's pick that one!

6. What’s your biggest guilty pleasure?

um...food. Probably. 

7. If you had the ability to change one thing in history, what would it be?

There are so many things in history that we'd probably benefit from having changed, but then... can't imagine what the world'd be like if we did change them. Maybe we'd be better off. Maybe we'd be worse off. I just don't know. But I kind of like the world as it is. It's not perfect, and we've got a lot of things to fix and to continue working on, but it's getting there. So I think I'll leave history as it is.

8. Most embarrassing moment?

oh man. I have had so many of these. I am a grade-a KLUTZ, so yeah. Always. But most recently, I think, was probably when I went on my early morning scuba dive in Bali with my friend Tyler. This was our 3rd dive of the weekend (we had gone on two in the afternoon of the day before). We woke up at 5am, and were in the water by 6. When we got to be about 10 feet under, I rolled over onto my back and looked up at the surface, and was suddenly hit by this "Oh my god, I'm 10 feet under water, HOW AM I BREATHING?" moment, and kind of panicked, and then sucked in a gasp, and REALIZED I HAD MY REGULATOR IN MY MOUTH AND MY BIG-ASS TANK ON MY BACK and oh yeah, that's how I'm breathing. 

Tyler hasn't let me forget about it yet. He probably never will.

9. If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you choose?

You pick the hard questions, don't you, geez. This is so tough, because I have loved every single place I have ever lived. Ontario, New Brunswick, Germany, Texas, and Vancouver. So I guess my answer is I'm happy anywhere - but I'd pick to live close to my friends and family, if I had a choice.

10. How well do you handle major character deaths?

Tears. Lots and lots of tears. I sob like mad, it is ridiculous. 

11. What’s your favourite memory?

This one's tough, too. I have so many really amazing memories, I've been pretty lucky in my life. My favourite memory over all, though, (I think) is one summer when my famiy and I went down to our trailer at Johnston's Point, New Brunswick and we stayed there on the beach for a couple days. My sister and Dad and I collected mussels from the beach for dinner, and blueberries from the blueberry patch for dessert, and built a city out of driftwood, seaweed, shells, and sand on the beach.
