Slat Squad: Party edition
Doesn’t matter what party it is, if it’s a Slat Squad party Hidden Block is gonna find out somewhere and show up uninvited.
No one really minds though.
Dave is probably going to find an empty corner and stay there the entire night, even though she’s totally comfortable with everyone at the party. Thatt’s just how she is.
There’s a couple people that always make a point to seek her out and talk to her to make sure she’s not lonely (namely Ian because he’s the same way with parties, and then Jeff and Luke because they’re sweethearts.)
Ella probably mingles for a while before settling down.
Arden strikes me as the type to mingle all throughout the party and still somehow have enough energy to help clean up afterwards.
Blu finds the video games and ends up in the middle of a practice tournament somehow
EJ joins in the tournament and wins.
Flower is the life of the party and doesn’t understand why but loves it

Oh my god
Slat Squad time ;)
Alright so we know that because Blu and Dave are young everyone has a protective streak for them but what happens if the older members of the squad get hurt?
Dave is crafty. She won’t go in fists flying, no. She’ll leave a note, meet the source of problems in private. She solves problems with words, not actions. And she is good.
One cold stare from Dave and you know you’re in trouble.
I kind of think of Dave to be similar to Ian. Can shut up a room with one look, but doesn’t say much of anything.
Blu, on the other hand, I feel would try to confront the source outright, but it wouldn’t quite work out.
When that happens, instead of giving up Blu gets help from the Hidden Block guys. Because honestly, the Hidden Block guys are as close to the Slat Squad as they are to each other.
whether this closeness is good or bad we just don’t know
And oh boy do the Hidden Block guys take care of it.
We’re basically passing around a fic, continuation of this. <3
Dave’s embarrassment was mounting one shirtless boy at a time. As if Jeff’s lack of a shirt wasn’t awkward enough, now here was Luke, also lacking in the top portion of clothing, and still dripping wet. Dave turned quickly to Ella, her fiery red face a clear indication of her thoughts.
“Okay. Sorry for intruding you two, we came at a bad time. Congratulations once again, Jeff. Come on, Ella.” Arden picked up on what Dave was trying to do immediately, moving to gently push Ella past Luke. Dave nodded towards Luke, not looking directly at either of the boys. Her top priority right now was to get out of there.
“You guys should put on some shirts. Bye.” Blu shrugged as she walked out behind the group, Dave taking the lead and completely ready to get as far away from Bluebell as she could. She wasn’t coming out of her room again for a week, that was for sure.
“That was fun,” Blu broke the silence over the group, Dave finally slowing down to match pace with the rest of the group.
“Let’s not leave our rooms ever again.” Dave scrubbed at her face, trying to erase everything that had happened in the last few minutes. Ella seemed to be in a state of shock, her mind not quite processing.
“He wasn’t wearing a shirt...”
“Well, neither of them were wearing shirts,” Arden pointed out, gaining a small groan from Dave.
“You guys are weird.” Blu walked ahead, running up the stairs to Primrose. Dave followed slowly, collapsing face first onto her bed with Ella swallowing thickly, her mind finally seeming to catch up with everything that had happened.
“We should... We should text before we go over to the boys’ dorm. That’d be a good idea. Smart idea.” Dave’s words were muffled by her pillow , Ella plopping into Dave’s desk chair to open the laptop and view the reults again. Numbers were good.
“Jeff is over Paul by 12% now. 67 votes. That’s a lot. Do you think we can call it a surefire win yet? Paul still has a chance but...” Ella shrugged, turning to the rest of the room.
“Yeah, I think we can call that a win. “ Arden spoke up from her spot near Dave, sitting on the edge of the bed. Dave gave a thumbs up.
“Yay.” Dave’s thoughts were everywhere. She needed a nap. Badly.
“Yeah. It’s naptime,” Dave turned on her bed, curling up within the covers. “See y’all whenever.”
Naptime is always good.
