she’s seen all sorts of injuries since the world went to hell -- between her time at the hospital and the integration into the group she’d only recently left ( or more accurately, been banished from ) she’s had enough blood on her hands to last a lifetime. and given the world’s current state, she’s not too sure how long hers might be. it’s especially hard for her to see children in pain ; her life’s work before the outbreak had involved their health, and while she’d never had any of her own, she’s always felt a certain protectiveness towards those she meets, which is why she’s currently dressing Carl’s wound as gently and calmly as possible. ‘ well, i think you look quite handsome, ’ she quips with a decisive nod, sitting back to passively admire her handiwork. ‘ builds character, y’know. ’ / @slaughte cont.
