Summary:

Fenris is gifted to Hawke and Anders as a slave. The tevinter magister wants them to abuse the slave but Hawke and Anders have different ideas. Because nobody should take pain as pleasure and live as a slave. A fuck or die scenario in a slightly AU Kirkwall.

A New Life

Everything had been going perfectly that day. He and Master went out to the city to get things. Master stopped to speak to someone as he always did. This was normal as he leaned into the fingers stroking through his silver hair with a soft rumble almost like a purr. But then he was sent to fetch something from a store. This was also normal. If he did well he’d get to share Master’s bed again. He was always eager.

But as he came out everything went wrong. He saw the magister his master had been speaking to, dead on the ground and the evidence of an obvious duel. His master had won... but then... he watched his master fall. Dropping the things he had been sent to fetch he sprinted across the street and attacked the male that was moving away. He had seen the male’s face, caught his scent. And the second he caught him he killed him. once done, the forlorn slave returned to his master’s side.

There was no one to pass him onto. Master’s apprentice was dead. He didn’t know how but she left and didn’t return. Tears welled up in emerald green eyes and and anguished howl left his lips. The elf clung to Danarius’ body and sobbed. They were heart wrenching. “...Master... come back...” Fenris was oblivious to everything around him.
