What if Nezuko went down the mountain that day, and Tanjiro stayed?
Notes: I pulled this idea straight outta thin air, but I wanted BAMF Nezuko and demon Tanjiro sounds adorable. I think the Nezuko-related HCs are more thought-out, but enjoy!!

So Nezuko doesn't have Tanjiro's patented steel forehead™️
But she has hella strong legs
Like, have you seen her face-off against Susamaru's temari balls?
Everybody better watch their shins
She got along a little better with Makomo and Sabito wasn't as harsh with her (but only by a little, because all slayers need to be tough regardless of gender anyway)
Makes friends with the female slayers really fast (I really want Nezuko/Kanao to be BFFs)
IMO slayer! Nezuko would be more fiery and snarky than Tanjiro
She probably doesn't have Tanjiro's sense of smell either, so she had to work harder
Nezuko cut her hair and Tanjiro was like *sad noises* but he still makes little braids in her hair when he can
Also, how are Tanjiro's eyes still so kind even as a demon?
He's still her oni(i)-san (haha get it? oni and onii? i'll excuse myself now) so he is very rash about protecting her
It took him some time and reassuring before he came to terms that Nezuko was no longer the soft little sister he had to protect but he was very wary of Yushiro, Zenitsu and Inosuke and still is sometimes
Nezuko doesn't outright reject Zenitsu's advances, she just sort of teases him and runs away
But Big Bro Tanjiro (ooh it rhymes) will grow to his normal size and just kind of stare Zenitsu down
That's all great, but imagine this
That one tankana scene in the anime where Tanjiro flips the coin for Kanao, but now indoors and with a lot more cute "hrmph!!"-ing instead of talking 🥺
