In my SlayerWho (like that? I came up with it on the spot just now) canon, the Gentlemen and the Silence (or whatever the ones in the suits' species is, since the Silence is an organization) hail from the same planet, but from different hemispheres.
See, it makes sense! The Gentlemen steal your voice, the Silence (I'm just gonna call them that) steal your memories, they are both bald and slender, and they have a taste for snazzy suits. Totally from the same planet!
