went to my first ever pride festival a couple days ago!! :3 heres a list of some things that i saw that made me rlly happy:

- live music! and an ASL interpreter right next to the stage translating the music!!

- person in a full marge simpson cosplay that i spotted from a mile away

- some really unique looking fursuits, kept seeing this one alien looking axolotl thing and it looked so cool

- therians!!!! :D

- people with all kinds of mobility aids and SLAYING it :3

- hatsune miku cosplayer breaking it down next to the satanic temple booth

- free dad and mom hugs,,, :')

- bought a pin that said "Its Okay to Punch Nazis" (it was the last one left in stock)

- seeing the SLC pride flags (the ones with the sego lily on them, to protest the no pride flags on government buildings thing that happened in utah)

- seeing a nerdy soap small business that id bought from before last month at a renaissance fair! they have some awesome soaps based on ao3 tags :3 (they immediately clocked me and told me about the hurt/comfort soap they had in the back) (of course i bought it)

- kid came up to me and asked where i got my flag (i was wearing it like a cape) (IM SORRY KID IT WAS SO LONG AGO I DIDN'T KNOW i just got it off a website online :'3)

- a couple booths had a bunch of free pronoun pins (with some neopronouns as well!)

- bought one of my closeted friends some rainbow thigh high socks >:3c (with permission ofc)

i went to my first pride parade today!! and i had a girlfriend to go to it with!!

The Captain America and Tony Stark cosplayers are friends of mine, but they aren’t on Tumblr (to my knowledge), so for privacy reasons I’m not linking to their personal info unless I’m given the go ahead.

They are a couple irl, and active members in the gay & cosplay communities, which makes their couple-cosplay and presence in the parade even more awesome ^_^
