There, he was fostered by Swanflight, who gave him the name Sleekkit, thanks to his smooth pelt. Raised alongside her kits, Sleekmane sees Jackdawhum and Galesting as his brothers, and was excited to train alongside them as warriors. He became a warrior, earning his name along side his “littermates”. After becoming a warrior, Gudgeonsplash approached him if he was interested in becoming a medicine cat. Gudgeonsplash is an older tom, nearing the end of his life looking for someone capable to become the next medicine cat. The intelligent Sleekmane was an obvious choice, no cat was surprised. He’s a quiet, but smart young tom, who sets high expectations for himself, and often exceeds them. Now nearly a fully trained medicine cat, Sleekmane spends a lot of his time caring for the elderly Gudgeonsplash, who refuses to retire to the elders den. Sleekmane escapes to the water as often as he can, and if hes not in the medicine cat den, just follow the water and you’ll likely find him swimming or hunting with his brothers.
