Developed by the decepticons' weapons engineering division, the sleep nets are a staple of enemy capture gear. Named as such for their ability to partially disrupt the flowing of the electrical paths of a cybertronian's body's energy transfer/distribution system in such a way as to artificially induce in them a sleep cycle. The ultimately unaligned mercenary lockdown is known to possess a few such sleep nets and to sometimes deploy a net pain from the same forearm as his hook hand
