So moving back to family rural property after fifteen years I learned something cute about my front door barn-spiders. They work all night and then in the day they sleep up in the doorframe and eaves and they make themselves little sleep masks.

I object, so quietly and nothing ever changes (and nothing ever will). So here we sit, so awkwardly while an elephant fills the spaces.

One of the bands/songs that will always get me to a better place right away. Somehow I think I only saw them like twice when I was in Tallahassee last year, but they were my first Tallahassee show (at the Shark Tank!), so at least there's that.
