okay, okay, i know picking al three is probably against the rules so i’ll play fair. first let’s look at the ones I wouldn’t pick:

friends to lovers with whiskey: if we’re talking canon whiskey (aka not the reformed, significantly more lovable fanon version) then it would have to be a full on rivals to friends to lovers. there’s no way i would ever become friends with him without a lengthy rivalry period where he learns a thing or two or two thousand about women 😏 THEN we can be friends. tl;dr i want to be whiskey’s enemy rival first

fwb to lovers with javi: i love javi with my whole heart but i think being fwb with him would be way to angsty of an experience for me because 1. i don’t share well with others and we know he’d still be romping around town and 2. my anxiety would skyrocket over the uncertainty of that initial phase because i! need! to! be! loved! and my dummy brain doesn’t allow me to separate sex and love (tried that, didn’t work. my inner hoe must be loved first 😂). tl;dr fwb with javi might actually kill me

which leaves...

enemies to friends to lovers with din: honestly? it’s a no brainer for me. his tribe’s rigid interpretation of the mandalorian creed and/or his shady past opens up so many possibilities for intense moral conflicts and, ultimately, beautiful character development on both sides. can you imagine the steamy hate fighting? but also that moment when someone else tries to hurt one of you and the other realizes they’ve gone soft and care about their former enemy? uhg i live for that shit 🥺 as much as i want din to have a soft, gentle romance... i think this would work for him too. he strikes me as the “falls in love on accident” type tl;dr sign me tf up

I'll have to send this in two parts (sorry) but this is for the sleepover thingy! I had my first kiss a few days ago !! I was at my friends house and it was almost 3 in the morning and we were making mug cookies in her kitchen, we were talking about past crushes and two ghosts by harry styles was playing and the conversation just sort of trailed off and we were standing so close to each other and we were honest to god abt to kiss and the fucking microwave went off. 1/2

2/2-The kiss happened abt 10 minutes later and it tasted of peanut butter chocolate chip cookies and aaaaaa I lov girls so much✨💕 what’s ur first kiss story riley?!

as for my first kiss story..! it was last year,, i was having a sleepover at my friends house nd we were cuddling in her bed at like 4am nd we were SUPer close to each other and we sort of inched our faces closer & closer together until we kissed… then in the morning i was too scared 2 bring it up or anything because i had convinced myself it was a dream kgjsnfkgj but i saw her again like a week later and she brought it up while we were cuddling on the couch watching movies so we both knew it had been real skdfjgnjk and then we kissed again ! she was eventually my first (nd so far only lol) gf but then a few months later she blocked me on everything w no explanation which is fun

hmmm...

you know, i’ve been thinking about this question for a while now and i really can’t come up with anything worth ranting about at the moment. plus, i try to keep my blog a really positive place because it’s my little happy place.

din djarin really is my ride or die. i just wanna hug him for a ridiculously long time 🥺 and tbqh... i wouldn’t even know about javier peña without him oops 😬

i take my my coffee never. a single drop of decaf gives me Anxiety™️ and i will, without a doubt, be up all night. i do, however, like a nice up of tea. preferably earl grey (w/ lavender !!) or a mint tea ☺️

i hardly ever watch movies... so i really had to think about this. last winter i watched jojo rabbit, knives out, and parasite all within the span of a week and i thought all three were amazing — and for such different reasons! but jojo rabbit really stuck with me. i wrote my undergrad senior thesis on anti-nazi youth groups in germany and researched about the hiterjungend and resistance in the waning years of the war so the topic was already of interest to me. even with the comedic stylings of taika waititi, it felt like a more accurate and nuianced portrayal of life on the german homefront than we see in most “serious” (and usually american) war movies. the cinematography, costumes, soundtrack and score were all amazing. and i’m still not over the way the film maneuvers between comedic and tragic moments. (the butterfly scene? i can’t even talk about it). anyway, i just really loved what the film had to say about prejudices and friendship and coming of age. poignant messages for these times. 💕

i adore tropical flowers like hibiscus and plumeria because they make me feel warm and carefree 🌺 but being back on the east coast has reminded me of my undying love for hydrangeas. i have to stop and take photos everytime i come across one.

i’ve been blessed with a lot of good days in my life. but despite being someone who studies the past, i don’t like to feel stuck in it. every day was as it was meant to be and now it’s over. so i don’t know if i would want to relive any of them. that being said, the last time i felt truly, stupidly happy and free was a day i spent wandering around london by myself a couple years ago. i was technically there to do research for my ma thesis... but it was a bank holiday so the archives were closed! it was an unseasonably warm, sunny may day and i walked from park to park being dumb and doing whatever i wanted. we’re talking photographing every pretty building (because i’m also an architecture nerd) and laying in grassy parks watching clouds and eating my weight in indian food and just going nowhere in particular but enjoying every step of the journey. i definitely haven’t had a day like that this year and probably need one 😪
