So usually when I go to sleep it either takes forever for me to fall asleep, or just feels like forever because adhd. But anyway, recently I’ve noticed playing music gives me enough distraction to stop concentrating being sleep, and I fall asleep much quicker. The only problem with this is I know I shouldn’t have headphones in when I’m asleep, but I also just can’t have it playing out loud cos I share a room, so any suggestions of how to do it I’m open to ideas.
About a year ago, I had the exact same problem. I ended up buying something called “sleepphones” which basically looks like an sleep mask which goes all the way around your head, and has thin, flat speakers in the sides. They’re meant for sleeping in, and are super comfortable.
I bought some on eBay for about £2 (they were cheap because I bought them from a seller in China and had to wait over a month for postage) and mine still plugged into my phone, but I just had a look online and they now sell Bluetooth ones.
Here’s a link to some I just found - £10 and Bluetooth on Wish. (These aren’t the ones I bought, so I have no idea how good these ones are, but this is the sort of thing I mean.)
