As I've gotten more popular on insta I've noticed an influx of children (and occasional parent) asking if they can have/buy a custom and I've noticed both a lack of understanding of how much it would actually cost were I willing to sell one of my more elaborate dolls and the fact that you can't really play with these like factory toys.
Like my recent Jr custom, were I to sell it, I would probably need at least $200 considering the labor involved. (Not to mention Bowser himself, who I put a lot more time and money into) And if a child tried to play with him the way kids like to he would be ruined pretty quickly.
Like these are interactive art pieces at this point, and a lot of non-doll people don't seem to understand/respect that.
