I thought I’d post a small (refreshed) about me thing:
This is my blog, sleepykingu, I started it mostly to have a place to collect things that are interesting to me. I do not have any side blogs active.
I’m Blake! I’m 29, turning 30 soon. (Short answer you’re never too old for this!)
I have one offspring (8), three cats(Princess, Captain and Jinx), two fancy goldfish (Kin and Pudge) and some plants. I am taken. I don’t reference my partner much because he doesn’t use tumblr.
I like sharks, dinosaurs, science, soft things, penguins, the color orange, and my favorite food is probably curry.
My favorite snacks are mochi, mandarin oranges or beef jerky.
I identify as non-binary! I don’t have a specific preference for pronouns.
I am a parent, so I have some unique experiences parenting as an age regressor. And no it doesn’t impede my parenting skills or affect my offspring. All he knows is he’s not allowed to play with my rc cars and sharks.
I refer to my kid as offspring or Ducky. He’s 8. He gets my old lego sets and we do science experiments together.
I tend to get sick frequently so I’m asleep a lot. My stuffie, Jelly comes with my almost everywhere. From grocery shopping to picking up my offspring from school.
I am vastly interested in science, robotics and video games.
My favorite dinosaur is a titanboa. (I know it’s not an official dinosaur but it’s still super cool)
I post stuff that’s interesting to me. I don’t particularly follow a specific aesthetic.
I am starting to collect stickers. I like cats the most.
More random facts about me:
I didn’t learn about agere till a few years ago, I just knew people always thought I was weird because I still buy toys and stuffed animals.
I’m extremely socially anxious. I’ve been using the internet for years but I’ve never really spoken to anyone on it. I don’t really talk to people in real life and tend to autopilot it.
If you dm me I will try to respond but understand that I am not quite comfortable talking with people.
My asks are open and I’m willing to answer most questions.
I’m still learning the tags and stuff, if I mistag something let me know! I will fix it.
I love digimon, Stardew valley and professor Layton games.
My fish are as big as my hand.
I still own my baby blanket.
I have sensory processing problems and other things too.
The name kingu comes from an anime I watched a long time ago from my favorite character. Sleepy comes from the fact I earned that nickname for my abblity to fall asleep anywhere and I tend to sleep quite a bit.
I don’t talk about food very much because food is problematic for me.
I check and block anyone who breaks my dni.
