The Mouse & The Hare | sleepy-windup
Low heeled dress shoes tapped against white marble floors of Pandora, their owners vision being blocked by all the papers he held. Incoherent mumbles of frustration slipped under his breath, ears twitching in slight irritation. Sure, he offered to help his contractor with that slacker Xerxes Break's paperwork, but why was there so much? And this wasn't even half of it; Liam gave him only about a quarter, claiming he didn't wish to overwhelm his chain. And March wasn't overwhelmed, but he certainly was high-strung; though the paperwork isn't not the only reason for that. March Hare had been told by some of his fellow chains (such as Mad Hatter) to 'lighten up and try to make friends'. He's friend with Liam, and is on good terms with Lady Sharon, is that not enough?
Suddenly, he was brought from his thoughts as he felt his tall frame trip over something; paper flying everywhere as he stumbled forward before landing on the floor. There was a brief moment of mental screaming before the chain looked behind him to see what had caused him to fall. Was that-- it was! "Dormouse?!" He'd never personally met the older chain, but he'd seen him around and he knew he was contracted to Vincent. Plus, those headphones and the rest of his odd clothing was a dead giveaway, no one else dresses like that. "Why are you sleeping in the hall?" A slow sigh, rubbing his temples. "Did I harm you?" Are you even awake, you bastard?!
