Cna you tell us more of raven's and Gray's parents' death? Or would that be spoiler? I'm curious how a thunderclan cat dies drowned, was it during a fight with riverclan?

There isn't much to say about them! The drowning was an accident, though some ThunderClan cats would LOVE to pin it on RiverClan. Rockfall tried to fish in the winter, since prey was low, but because he couldn't swim, the water was freezing and he knocked himself against a rock, he unfortunately drowned. Sleettail (Windflight), his mother, died to the cough that plagues the Clans every now and again, not long after her mate passed away. Some think the loss of Rockfall may have made it harder for her to fight back against the disease.

However, Ravenpaw's mother, Kestreltail (Swiftbreeze), did get killed in a RiverClan battle. It was an accident, but RiverClan still had to pay with prey as an apology - which they were agreeable to, since it's fair, but they made a point to only bring land prey over. Blackpelt (Fuzzypelt), his father, was also an accident - an adder woke up from hibernation much earlier than it should have and bit him while he was hunting.

I didn't know you had named Gray's dad Rockfall! What meaning does that name have? you said - fall meant that the cat's appearance or behavior imitates his prefix. And did Sleettail (Windflight) have windclan blood on them like in Canon? Maybe I'm mistaken but I remenber Windflight being... Thistleclaw's dad? Not sure!

"Rockfall" as a name referred to a tom who was steadfast, quiet and not a little stoic - completely unlike his son! Greypaw got his casual personality from his mother, who was a purebred ThunderClanner in this world. She was very friendly and encouraging of her son's confidence before she died.

Due to the nature of genetics, family sizes and timeline issues, a LOT of characters and their families have been moved around and changed. It might as well be an entirely new universe! Lynx's been super hard at work arranging and rearranging in the background to make sure everyone's families and colors make sense. Any new stuff will be clarified as asked.

Sleettail (Gray tabby w/ white)

Senior warrior of CloudClan. Brother to Torrentstar and Hailrush. Son of Squallblaze. Father of Snowflower and Frostpool.

Likely the most unpleasant member of his sibling group, Sleettail is consistently grouchy and pessemistic. He was the last born of the trio and grew up for most of his life being forgotten by his father, Squallblaze, as he favored Hailrush, and being left in Torrenstar’s wake durring training. His jealousy of Hailrush and Torrentstar caused a rift to be driven between them as young warriors and they are no longer on decent speaking terms. Sleettail hasn’t spoken to his father in years.

He confided in his best friend and future mate, Dewface, durring the time his family issues reached a head; they eventually realized that they loved one another and were quick to start a family of their own. She passed after being bitten by a rattlesnake while hunting in Tallfield (an area of the territory covered in prairie grass that is at least two cats high), however. Sleettail, devestated, mourned her passing greatly and was sent into a spiraling cascade of anger and isolating depression. His daughters, Snowflower and Frostpool, were apprentices at the time and had seemed to loose both of their parents to the tradgedy.

Still in pain from the loss of his mate and family isolation, Sleettail takes a lazy approach to his warrior responsibilites and does the miniumum needed to get by. It’s not enough to cause a rebuke in anyone’s eyes, but many wonder why the old tabby hasn’t retired to the elder’s den if he can’t bare to participate in basic warrior duties. Sleettail knows why; he never wants to lay eyes on Squallblaze again and won’t retire to the elder’s den until the old senile tom has died of his old age.
