So, if you go along the conventions of how fur and clothes are named...

fur - biskova (beast cover, essentially)

clothes - bakkova (back cover, essentially)

Wouldn't that make a hat... melonkova?

Since head is melon and a hat is a head covering. (or is there already a word for hat? officially, there's no word for it in the dictionary.)

You know, leida and leidon both mean "bye" and seem to be interchangeable, but I get the feeling that it wouldn't be 100%.

leida (later)

leidon (later on)

So it would make sense that it could have to do with time, as in leida means "bye, but I'll see you soon" and leidon means "bye, i don't know when I'll see you again/it might be a while before i see you again".

Either that, or having to do with formality, leida being more casual and leidon being more formal. But considering Trigedasleng doesn't really seem to have formal language beyond titles, I doubt it would be a formality.

Am I onto something or making a case for something not there?
