Since I started my Wordle journey I’ve completed 292 puzzles. No failures, except for inexplicably missing a day and ending a 178 day streak. Bummer.
8 of those puzzles I’ve managed to do in 2!

Streak gone. I missed yesterday’s word - SKULL.
How the hell did I manage that?
I’ve not been well and the weather’s been lousy. That’s my excuse!

Good news! The NY Times, who run the Wordle game and app, have announced that from 2nd February they will start to re-use words that have previously been Wordle answers.
So finally it looks as though they’ll be going back to sensible words again.

Have to confess this is a word I’d never heard of.
It’s a spice.
My fourth guess was fortunate in that it left me with only one alternative (I needed some help at this point).
NY Times are getting very obscure recently with their choice or words. Maybe they’re running out!

The streak could easily have ended. Had the choice of HOUND, MOUND, POUND or WOUND and luckily chose right on the fifth attempt.
