What if you found a portal to a Parallel Universe?
What if you could Slide into a thousand different worlds?
Where it’s the same year, and you’re the same person, but everything else is different?
While researching anti-gravity, a prodigy Physics University student Quinn Mallory (Jerry O'Connell) accidentally discovers an inter-dimensional portal which sends him to an alternate Earth where everything is different.
Realizing that he has the ability to travel to different worlds of the same Earth but different dimension, he is is more than eager to explore the infinite possibilities hoping to find answers, dragging along his three companions on his journey.
But what he thought would be a scientific expedition of a lifetime turns into something else when they landed on an alternate timeline Earth where the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics ruled over America and much of the world.

I’d love to see a Silders Revival with the original cast that ignores the last 3 seasons of the show.
If I recall correctly, this was the first ever tv series that introduced me to the concept of parallel dimensions. When I was around 12 or 14 years old, I saw some VHS tapes at the local rental shop, found the name of the show quite interesting and asked my older brother to rent one of them for home movie evening. I got hooked with the story, but never had a chance to watch all seasons.
