I'm a bad fan. I've been really sick this weekend so I've been putting my sleep/health first. I'm going to miss both days of bangbangcon and I feel like I'm the worst ARMY because of it. My sister is able to watch but I'm not. Do you think the boys would be disappointed in me? I do.

Do you think Harry will go to one of Niall's shows? I want to think he will but I've been so disillusioned about narry lately :( I have this awful feeling that we'll never get to see/hear Harry support Niall in the same way Niall supports him, not because he hates him or anything silly like that, but just because Harry seems to be so distant from the others? Idk, just thinking out loud... sorry ppl are being so rude to you today! Hugs!

I don’t think Harry is necessarily distant from the others. I think he’s just not into the social media thing. Like- Niall is an exception; he supports E V E R Y O N E, whether it be the boys or his golf people or other artists, he’s constantly being the most supportive. Whereas Harry, these days, only takes to social media to announce things – but that doesn’t mean that he’s distant in real life. They might talk every day, and maybe Harry didn’t go running to Niall to tell him about the surgery on his wrist (I sometimes go days/weeks without telling my friends that I talk to a regular basis, sometimes every day, something) – but that doesn’t mean that they aren’t still friends and they don’t still care about each other.

As far as whether or not I think Harry will make it to one of Niall’s shows – who knows. They’re both on tour now, which means their schedules are both pretty full, so it really am not of the opinion that if Harry doesn’t go that that means that he isn’t supportive.

#I also think that the ways in which they support each other are different in part to the media #Niall has had 10 times the amount of interviews as Harry since the day he released TT #he's been asked about Harry/the others FAR more than the others have been asked about him #that's just a fact #plus we all know how biased the media is #they constantly want to know about Harry even when a situation has nothing to do with Harry #that's just the way it is #so it's not surprising that the others get asked more than Harry does #anyway-#I think the fact that people are making such a big deal out of it in such a negative way #when it's not even a negative situation in the slightested #slightest*#is a joke #it's ridiculous

I think the people who made the fandom a mess are "dying out" though (or I finally have them all blocked?) The episodes are really good and they're fixing a lot of things, like eddie and chris, being clear about where buddie is heading... aisha's directing debut was great. I'm still sad they didn't let buck/oliver have this one storyline to himself, the hate was insane, but things are definitely looking up. Not that I have anyone in the fandom but the show/the characters are still my beloveds

ngl i think you just got them blocked lmao i still catch the tail end of it here and there and people are just as insane and viscous as ever

see for me it's just not fun to participate in a fandom that from any and all angle will purposely misinterpret the source material to fit whatever ship they're rooting for, generally ignoring most other aspects of the show and then having all those people blocked just feels like yelling into the void lmao

i'm glad you could retain your love for the characters though <33

unfortunately i just genuinely fallen out of love with the show as a whole, i don't hate it, i just feel nothing about it, you could tell me it's as good as it was in s5 and probably i'd still wouldn't wanna watch it again
