hi i just came in to remind u all that im really gay and i have a Big Dumb Crush that i thought was going away but apPARENTLY NOT

im on a waiting list to see a psychologist for an ASD assessment! will be a few months before I can actually make an appointment but it’s a start

i’ve been feeling alright the past fortnight. i’m still tired all the time but i think that’s just how i’m going to be for the rest of my life? things make me tired and i have to always do things so i will always be tired.

at least i dont wanna die anymore!

so my mood has been stable, and im out of my room more, and im talking to my mum more. i’m learning how to help myself and to just do things that make me feel better.

now to just wait and see if this maintains when i start uni in a month

New car

It's official. I have my car now. I just cleaned it out a bit ago. Also, my sister knows a guy who thoroughly renovates the inside (I.e, shampoos the carpets, cleans the interior, waxes the outside, the whole nine yards) for cheap. At least something positive has come into fruition recently.

Night Time Is Almost Ours

Kick. Kick.  Move your arms and legs, Annie. My father’s words ring in my head as I struggle.

I can’t breathe. My arms are so tired. Why am I still alive?

I hear voice overhead. It’s familiar, so familiar, but I can’t place it. Dimly, I register: “Annie Cresta, Winner of the 71st Hunger Games!”

And then I can’t see anything anymore.

I pull my knees up to my chest as I sit up in bed. Finnick is still asleep, and I don’t want to wake him up.

I wish that the nightmares would stop. Someone said something about pills, but I’m not going to take those. I won’t be like the other Victors who have succumbed to addiction.

Here in District 13, everything is gray. Gray shirts, gray pants, gray shoes. I don’t like gray. I like green and blue, because they remind me of the sea and Finnick and everything I love.

Finnick stirs besides me as I lie down and rest my head against his chest. He’s still half asleep as he looks at me with heavy eyes and a soft smile that he only shows me.

“Nightmare?” he asks me, voice still lazily thick with sleep.

I nod, and bury myself against his chest. It seems odd to think we’re married now.

He hums something, a common lullaby from District Four, from home, that my mother used to sing to me and my sisters when we couldn’t sleep.

I fall asleep to his hands gently running through my hair as I listen to his heartbeat, slow and gentle, steady, always there.

Just like Finnick.
