I love DD/SOJ and it’s because I love them both that I think that they’re both beautiful and in need of extensive and more fleshed out storytelling more than the one off thing that they seem to be. DGS works as a duology and can stand out because it has it’s own plot driven narrative and it feeds into each other, DD/SOJ do that but because they’re not as thought out some things fall a lot more flat.

I’m not capable of thinking more on why this is and lack the foresight for how to “clean it up” so to speak, and I’m sure I’ll get there eventually but. I do appreciate the attempt, what they wanted to do, and I think there’s a way TO do it by taking the idea and just, letting it grow and flourish. They’re both amazing at the conceptual stage and I love the themes so much despite being equally viewed as stains on the franchise but

Not sure. For now I’m stuck in my blackmadhi loving bubble until I can better articulate this sorta thing.

Hi I know it's not really still going but I found to trail a killer pretty recently and absolutely adored the series to where it is now! I really like mu qing angst and hurt/comfort so that's maybe part of the reason haha, but it's so interesting and I really like reading how the fengqing relationship is characterized and develops! Thank you for all of your work on it until that point, it's definitely one of my favorite fengqing pieces/series now <3

I'm so glad that you enjoyed TTAK for what it is, and I know it seems abandoned but I do want to at least get a conclusion out there (if you read "ch.2" of the latest part), it's just taking some time between having low inspiration as of late and also just my health being rather hectic.

If anything, I'm glad that it still finds itself in peoples hands and they still enjoy something I put my heart and soul into in the early days of the FQ fanbase. I even went back and rewrote the entire first part because of that. And I know I'm rambling but. It means a lot.
