I rewound time just a little, to meet the version of myself that existed before mesh.
There was an era when Second Life was built with sculpties and prims— imperfect, charming, and full of warmth.
In this video, I recreate my old avatar using the brands and items I truly loved back then, including pieces that shaped the early days of {amiable}.
Compared to today’s mesh avatars, she’s clumsy, uneven, and far from perfect… yet undeniably “me.”
Second Life’s long history was shaped by countless creators and residents. This video is a small tribute to that journey.
To the past version of myself— and to everyone walking through this world today.

時間を少しだけ巻き戻して、 メッシュが生まれる前の私に会いに行きました。
Second Life がまだスカルプとプリムでできていた頃。 不器用で、でもどこか愛おしい時代。 あの頃のアバターを、記憶の中からそっと呼び戻してみました。
当時愛していたブランド、 毎日のように通っていたショップ、 そして {amiable} が生まれる前夜の小さな物語。
今の美しいメッシュアバターと比べると、 ぎこちなくて、形も不揃いで、 でも確かに “あの頃の私” がそこにいました。
Second Life の歴史は、 たくさんのクリエイターとユーザーの手で紡がれてきたもの。 その一片を、今日の動画に残しています。
不器用で、愛おしい過去の私へ。 そして、今この世界を歩くすべての人へ。
