pete had spent the last week and two days in the town’s small jail, it was what the cops hoped would put his little antics aside, unfortunately pete was a lot smarter than most the cops around this town. you see while they thought they punished the boy for one thing he really got away with something much bigger. pete knew the routine by know, where as he would love to patronize the cops for being dim witted glorified security guards he knew to keep his mouth shut before he’d be back in his home again. grabbing his personal belongs, he grabbed his cigarettes first placing the box in his month and flipped the police officer off on his way out. looking for his phone he was about to call his best friend to pick him up when he saw her outside already waiting for him. “miss me.” he said muffled with the box of cigs still in his mouth, grabbing one he put it in his lips and handed another to the girl.
