Shiv Tandav Stotram: शिव तांडव स्तोत्र  की रचना लंकापति रावण ने की थी। कहते हे की रावण ने ब्रम्हाजी से शक्तिया हासिल की थी। उस समय अपने शक्तियों के मध चूर होकर उसने कैलाश पर्वतउठा लिया था तब भगवान शिव ने अपने केवल एक अंगूठेसे उसे निचे दबा दिया था। तब रावण के हात उसके निचे दब गए उसे बहोत पीड़ा हो रही थी तब उसने Shiv Tandav शिव तांडव गाना शुरू किया उससे शिव बहोत कुश हुए और अपना अंगूठा निकल लिया और…

Sarva Swaroope Sarveshe

ॐ सर्व स्वरूपे सर्वेशे सर्वशक्ति समन्विते। भयेभ्यस्त्राहिनो देवी दुर्गे देवी नमोस्तुते एतत्ते वदनं सौम्यं लोचना त्रयभूषितम | पातुनः सर्वभीतिभ्यः कात्यायनी नमोस्तुते ||

Om Sarva Swaroope Sarveshe Sarvshakti Samanvite, Bhayebhyastrahino Devi Durge Devi Namostute. Etatte vadanam saumyam lochana trayabhushitam Paatu nah sarvabhiitibhyah kaatyaayani namostute.

You exist in everything, you possess infinite powers. Devi, please protect us from all fears, we salute to you O Durga Devi. O mother with a beautiful face, adorned with three eyes, protect me from all that exists, Maa Katyayani I bow to you.

(Note: Katyayani is just a form of Durga, part of the Navadurgas).

उग्रं वीरं महाविष्णुं ज्वलन्तं सर्वतोमुखम्। नृसिंहं भीषणं भद्रं मृत्युमृत्युं नमाम्यहम् ॥

I bow down to Lord Narasimha who is ferocious and heroic like Lord Vishnu. He is burning from every side. He is terrific, auspicious and the death of death personified.
