He leaped over her first attack easily, but was caught off guard by her Roar. He grunted as it impacted him, sending him flying back several meters, dust flying everywhere as the Roar exploded

Seeing Peter affected by the attack, Wendy couldn't help but grin triumphantly to herself, feeling her confidence increase as she realise that she had actually hit her target.Seeing this as the perfect opportunity to go in again and gain the upper hand, Wendy spread her arms and began her next move, murmuring the words quietly at first as a wind of wall, but now with a slight glow even though her next was not a new spell, began to encircle herself and Peter."Shattering Light - Sky Drill!"The wind grew fiercer and her spell grew stronger and meanwhile the wall of whirling air began to shrink and closed in on Peter at a remarkable speed.

Once again, it appeared to hit, only for him to vanish. He reappeared, propped up against a tree, grinning. "Come on, Wendy. I gave you my power. Is that all you can do?"

She couldn't help but grin a little back, knowing he was taunting her, but still feeling the thrill of the fight."I've just been saving myself, Peter-san!" She replied quickly before murmuring an "Ile Arms" spell, feeling the strength of the first weaken, before allowing her energy and determination to bubble up once more. She recalled all that had happened when she first came into contact with Peter's light and, with her new potential power, tried to recall it. Quickly it came, though it felt weaker, and she was aware of a sensation of warmth as a faint glow began to accumulate over her skin. However, as the power was still faint and unusual, Wendy knew that she had to use it as best she could whilst it still lasted."Shining Sky Mode..." She murmured and then as quick as a flash charged over once more. "Shining Sky Dragon's Claw!"Swinging down her leg to hit her target, she noticed the gleam in the air, but marvelled at it only a second as she dropped back to the ground and quickly spun round as her first attack still sped towards her opponent, hoping to catch him off-guard with a second attack;"Shining Sky Dragon's Roar!"Wendy's vision was instantly blurred in a torrent of gleaming air the likes of which she had never seen before.

The attack appeared to hit, but as soon as it connected, he faded away, only to reappear behind her. "Light Dragon's Claws!" he called out, slicing forward with his hand, sending blades of light flying at her

Stunned, Wendy found it hard to process what had happened before Peter reappeared. She felt his presence and felt his air before she heard his voice and so she spun round just in time. She managed to dodge the glowing blades and began to charge towards her target."Sky Dragon's Crushing Fang!"Wind swirled in the path of her fingers as she drove them towards Peter.

"You are," he said, getting into a fighting stance. "Come at me. Use your instincts!"

Feeling the urge to test her new abilities, Wendy immediately mimicked his stance and, though she would usually have taken a moment to think out her next move, the magical power welled up in her fists before she could do anything about it."O strength of arm to cleave the heavens… Arms!"Her vision was tinted blue as the aura surrounded her and,if she hadn't felt strong before, she certainly did now. She leapt forwards straight at her target, spinning in the air, and yelled; "Sky Dragon's Wing Attack!"

As she returned, her newly heightened senses enabled her to be able to perceive Peter's magic, feeling like a calm ocean she couldn't perceive the depths of

Wendy was still in awe of the magical power she could feel within and she gazed round, observing their tranquil surroundings. Seriously, as the weight of her potential finally seemed to dawn on her, even if it was only a bit, she saw the open space as a new opportunity - here she had a place to effectively learn to weild her newfound strength and she felt that she had the drive to do it."Peter-san," she uttered; "do you think I am ready to learn more?" And she clenched a fist in determination. "I feel ready."

His voice came as if from a long distance. "Excellent. Now, reach into the land around us."

Wendy didn't reply, but she heard Peter and began to focus on the flow of energy that she was aware of. From the magic that flowed through the air and swelled within her chest, she turned her attention to their surroundings and to the grass beneath her.There was a distinct flow all around and a connection seemed to build between herself and the earth. Her energy grew and she felt revitalised.

"Reach out with your senses. Touch the magical world around you," he said

Wendy nodded absently as she continued to breathe. She was all of a sudden aware of the air around her - a breeze that seemed to carry all the magic in the wind towards her. Within her chest she seemed to feel a buildup of magical power."There is much magic in the air..." She whispered, almost afraid of disturbing the quiet. "I can feel it..."

He nodded, sitting across from her. "Close your eyes and take deep breaths," he instructed

Wendy did as instructed and began to breathe in and out deeply until she was completley relaxed, but was now aware of the magical power within her, stirring gently.
