everything smells like cloves and cinnamon

cute lip balm tins and scented lotions because the cold dries out your skin

warming up in front of a softly crackling fireplace

What a week. Eating lots of home made food, meal prepping to save money (with master chef 🐶 by my side), having loaaads of lazy mornings cuddling in bed, spending time with my mother ❤️ and just being was nice for a change.

concept: it’s early evening and the sky is a canvas of smudged pink and orange. the light creeps in and colours the walls. you’re leaning against the kitchen counter waiting for the kettle to boil, sore in the kind of way that comes from a long day of hard work. you can hear the hum of insects outside, the water bubbling, your breath. there is a type of calm that comes when you stop trying to fill silence and instead let it ease the ache of your bones.
