Audiotree “Far Out” Sessions
I’m just going to jump into this shindig by saying the team at Audiotree provide such an amazing service to upcoming artists as well as established artists all across the globe. They film, record, and release extremely high-quality video and audio for band ranging various genres. Audiotree gives these artists a platform with a large, dedicated following to expose these artists to a potentially new listener. They also provide fans of these artists with amazing quality live footage of some of their favorite artists.
Around a month ago, Audiotree released their first ever “Far Out” Sessions; which places these artists in unique environments ranging from empty swimming pools to convenience stores and laundry mats. this gives the viewer not only great audio of these bands, but also a special aesthetic that’s individual to those bands. So far, Audiotree has had all kinds of guests in these “Far Out” sessions including Lume, Slow Mass, Elvis Depressedly, Nnamdi Ogbannaya, and more.
As a long time viewer of the Audiotree Sessions they regularly hold at their studio headquarters, its really refreshing to see the A.T. staff tackle the difficultly of getting clean recordings out in the field, and of course pull it of while displaying these artists performing in interesting places. Its no surprise that the Audiotree team managed to pull off such a cool concept with ease. I’m really looking forward to see more of these soon!
Below you can watch my personal favorite “Far Out” Session of Slow Mass Performing “Dark Dark Energy” from their EP “Treasure Pains”.
