Slowing down a bit...

...hey there, lovelies!!

Just wanted to give you all a heads up that I'm going to be around a bit less for the next week or so. It's starting to be crazytime for me at work, and I've got a couple of other pressing things in my life outside work right now too, and I just need to reclaim a bit more of my time to focus on all that stuff for awhile.

I'm not going completely on break, but after this post for the next week I'm really going to be restricting my tumblr-time to just a short window in the evenings (an hour per night, max). I'll still post a bit, during that hour, and I probably will set up a queue for some stuff too...so hopefully you all will barely notice that I'm (kinda) gone. 

I'm just going to take this week to refocus and recharge, and I'll be back with you all in time to flail over the lovely fall tv season starting up on Sept. 22. "See" you all in a week!! :D :D

Status Update

So, here's what's happening.  There are a lot of people at my workplace who have quit, are going on vacation or are out on injury leave.  A LOT of people out on injury leave actually, which might, y'know, tell you something...  Anyway, those of us who are left are being pushed really hard (especially since a lot of us work through our own pain).  

Between a lot of work--often overtime--training, appointments, general adult behaviors and a social life that's just limping along, I'm pretty exhausted by the time I sit down at the laptop and I may only get an hour or so time to peruse the internetz when I can actually come on tumblr and get rping done.

So, I'm sorry I'm so slow.  I'm trying to hit drafts but during the week, that's the schedule I've got and I'm just trying to do the best I can.  I'm still open for threads but I'm just going to be painfully slow so bare with me.  If that's not something you're up for, my feelings won't be hurt and it's one less thing I have to worry about, but I do want to be able to continue to play with all of you.

Hi all: I'll be taking a little Slowatus for a wee bit

Replies will, therefore, be uh...slow. I promised myself I'd use this summer to write my novel, and so far I have...not written my novel. When I go back to school I'm going to be teaching and writing a thesis and will likely have 0 time whatsoever, so I really need to take advantage of the time I do have.

I'll still be here! Just replies will be slow. Thanks for understanding and being rad!

Announcement!

//My family's coming over for Christmas (yes, from now all the way 'til the 25th) and since they're family I'm going to have to cut down my rp time. But seriously I haven't had the chance to really dedicate it to rp time at all during this winter break sob sob.

So? Is this a hiatus? Not really... just think of it as a forewarning of how super-mega slow my replies might get. Also, if for any reason I dropped a thread you want to continue, please tell me and send me the link and I'll try to get back to you!

Winter--I mean- final season is coming

//So yeah. I hereby declare a slowatus/hiatus (technically it should be a hiatus but let's be honest I won't probably stick to it).

Replies will still come out (along with the last few days of character development). However, please bear with me and wait for the replies!

Slowatus will end on December 8th, maybe a bit earlier depends on my exams and project workload. After that I'll be back on full swing.
